Some might say taking a spot as a judge on American Idol is a big step backwards for someone as successful as Jennifer Lopez, but let’s put it into perspective. When’s the last time she had a hit single? When’s the last time she had a blockbuster movie? Yeah, exactly. I don’t think she has to worry about hurting her career too much since it’s pretty well already done for. These days, there isn’t much exciting about American Idol. Winning doesn’t even really seem like such a great prize anymore considering the winners have a few days of fame and then are never heard from again. With Lopez added as a judge, maybe things will get a little more interesting. What I’m really looking forward to is seeing Aerosmith’s legendary frontman, Steven Tyler, in the judge’s chair. J-Lo still looks hot though. I mean, just look at those legs. The lady still knows how to rock it. Only time will tell whether this job will give her career a boost it needs or bury it further in the past.
Has anyone seen ‘Bringing Out the Dead’? Marc Anthony was awesome in that. That’s the only thing I like about that guy. How he landed Jennifer Lopez is beyond me. I guess love is blind – at least for J-lo. I remember a time when Lopez was on top of the world – mega successful music, mega successful movies. Now, well, it’s a bit of a different story. Even so, here at the Carousel of Hope Ball in Beverly Hills, Jenny from the block looks incredible. She looks like she really loves performing and it’s great to see someone doing what they love. I have high hopes for her as the new judge for American Idol. I kind of hate the show, but I’ll watch just to see how Lopez does. Okay, in all honesty, I’ll be watching to see Steven Tyler, but J-lo should be interesting too.
It has been a long time since that famous green dress, hasn’t it. That plunging neckline. The super high waist. The rolls and rolls of double sided tape it must’ve taken to hold it all together. Back then the name Jennifer Lopez was on everybody’s lips. Today? Not so much. She’s still sexy though, just in an older, more mature sort of way. And hey, who are we to complain? Miss Lopez has a classic beauty in these photos from Malibu beach that few celebs can ever dream of possessing – an old school Hollywood glamor many imitate but few achieve. She may be facing a scandal (not to mention a lawsuit) over that infamous canceled concert, but she doesn’t appear to be letting it get her down. J Lo made the most of her assets during her recent performance at the Sanremo Festival in Italy. The 40 year old sexy singer and actress was in a stunning black studded skin tight cat suit showing off her voluptuous back. Jennifer created a great mood among the audience with her song ’If you have got it, flaunt it’. She also performed her recently released single ‘What is Love?’ making the night a memorable one for the audience. Her performance in San Remo was to mark the fourth night of the festival, which has reached its 60th anniversary. After this stunning performance, Jennifer proved to the world that she still has that magic in her voice.
