Katy Perry performed at an event for children at President Obama’s inauguration in Washington and this is what she wore. Until Beyonce’s lip syncing scandal broke, this outfit was the event’s biggest controversy. People were talking about how inappropriate it was for a woman to be wearing this kind of outfit when she was supposed to be performing for kids. It’s a little ridiculous, really. She might be showing a little more skin than some performers may have felt comfortable showing but that’s part of her persona. I don’t think it was inappropriate at all. I’m certain kids have seen Katy showing at least this much skin before whether in her videos or photo shoots. There are a lot of issues in the world that really do have an impact on children. Katy Perry’s boobs are not among those issues. Let’s get real. She looks good and she probably put on a show the kids loved. Leave the controversy where it belongs.
