Maria Sharpova is a gorgeous woman. I don't think many people would deny that. What really makes Maria special is that she's really good at what she does. Her talents might not be quite as recognized as powerhouses Venus and Serena Williams, at least not these days anyway, but this woman can play. The great thing about Maria is that she genuinely seems confident in her talents. She looks happiest on the court and I love that. I love seeing a gorgeous woman enjoying what she does and there's no doubt, Maria enjoys what she does. She might take a nasty fall every now and again, but she always gets back up.

I know I talk a lot of smack about Miley Cyrus, but my criticism of her really is confined to her often ridiculously skimpy stage attire. I actually really like candid Miley shots because we get to see the real girl - something we never get to see when she performs. Miley is just a normal girl. Here in a bikini on a beach in Brazil, Rio, Miley looks pretty adorable. She has a nice body and I've no objection to her showing it off on the beach. If these were stage shots and she was wearing the same thing (which really wouldn't be surprising), this post would have a completely different tone. As it is though, I think she looks adorable. Bikinis belong on the beach, not the stage.

The last time I wrote about Malin Akerman I wrote about the fact that she replaced Lindsay Lohan in the Linda Lovelace biopic 'Inferno'. I haven't heard much about that project in a little while, but I'm really looking forward to it; especially after seeing these pictures of Malin on Miami Beach. This girl is sexy, but she's not sexy in the big breasted blond bimbo sort of way. She has a real retro kind of beauty and I definitely appreciate that. It isn't always easy to stand out in Hollywood, but Malin seems to have figured out how to do just that. I love her. Can't wait for 'Inferno'.

There are no words that aptly describe how much I love Penelope Cruz. I don't love the dress she chose to wear to the London premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean, but I still love how she looks. It's weird how that works, isn't it? Penelope can wear an ugly, unflattering dress and still look gorgeous. I think it's her face. She has the most beautiful features. Her eyes are absolutely gorgeous. There was this old game we used to play in high school where we chose features from celebrities we wished we had. If I were playing that game today, I would definitely choose Penelope's eyes. In my always humble opinion, Penelope is one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood today.

So it seems Cheryl Cole has jumped ship on the UK version of 'The X-Factor' and followed Simon Cowell to the US for the US version of the show. She'll reprise her role of judge alongside Cowell, Cowell's 'American Idol' co-judge, Paula Abdul and legendary producer L.A. Reid. How is the show going to turn out? I have no idea. What I do know for certain is that Cheryl Cole is a babe and she knows it. I don't actually like the dress she's wearing as she leaves the Martinez Hotel but I love the way it compliments her body. She looks incredible. She has a very womanly body - curvy and sexy without being frighteningly thin. I can't wait to see her on 'The X-Factor'.

There is something about Diane Kruger I absolutely adore. She seems like such a carefree girl - especially in these pictures from Cannes. There's something appealing about a woman that looks like she's just sort of hanging out and taking it all in. Usually I find upskirt shots a little trashy but Diane just genuinely doesn't seem to care, so neither do I. She has the kind of classic yet modern beauty that you don't really see very often. She has a gorgeous face and a gorgeous body but a laid back sort of style. One gets the impression that she doesn't spend a lot of time thinking about her appearance. Her beauty is effortless and while I'm jealous of that, I also appreciate it. Love this woman.
