I know I talk about how much I love Rihanna a lot around these parts but I’m not sure I’ve ever really been able to explain why. I suppose there’s just something about her I respond to. She’s strong, confident and sexy but her sexuality seems very natural. There are a lot of sexy women out there but one gets the impression that looking sexy takes a huge amount of effort for some of them. I don’t feel that with Rihanna. She might not always make fashion choices I can get behind but she always looks sure of herself. The girl is gutsy and I appreciate that. More importantly, she isn’t a stick thin waif that looks like she may blow away in a stiff breeze. Rihanna is who she is – no apologies. I love that and I’m inspired by it.

When I think about the sexiest women in music today, Rihanna is pretty darn close to the top of the list in my books. It isn’t just her body and her face though. It’s her confidence. This is a woman who is sure of herself and has taken control of the image she presents in the media. She wears some pretty outrageous things from time to time but I honestly don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. I know she flashes a lot of skin but, not to sound like a broken record, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that either. She’s a grown woman and she has a great body. If she wants to flaunt it, that’s her business. Aside from that, she has the honest talent to back up the sexy image – something many other women in the industry can’t claim. Here in Torino, Rihanna takes the stage with a blond bob and little else and she works the stage like a pro. Love this girl.

I feel like it’s been ages since I’ve had the opportunity to write about Rihanna on stage but the dry streak has come to an end with these pictures of Rihanna performing live in Leipzig. I’ve got to admit there are few popstars I’d actually pay money to see in concert but Rihanna is definitely one of them. The costumes, the energy – it always looks like she puts on a heck of a show. I know there are a lot of people who don’t like this girl but I’m definitely not one of them. I think the woman is sexy and talented; definitely one of my favorite popstars.

The other day, I wrote a post about Rihanna in which I mentioned her video shoot in North Belfast that was shut down after the owner of the farm they were shooting on objected to Rihanna’s sexy imagery. That was this video. Here on the “We Found Love” music video set in North Belfast, Rihanna keeps mostly covered up, only flashing us a quick shot of her undies as she bends over. Sure this isn’t the topless portion of the shoot we’ve been hearing so much about but I’m okay with that. Rihanna still looks hot and honestly, I’ll take a nice upskirt over a topless shot any day.

Um… is it my imagination or is that man about to attempt to do something really naughty to Rihanna? Perhaps he’s just trying to help her with her bikini bottom wedgie. Either way, lucky guy. Here on Ipanema Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Rihanna looks smoking hot in a sexy little bikini but more than that, she looks like she’s genuinely having a good day at the beach. I read a story recently about Rihanna’s video shoot in Ireland. She’d secured a farm and filming began but the man who owned the farm – a good Christian man – put a stop to the whole thing when Rihanna started prancing around topless. The farmer said he spoke with Rihanna who was very polite but even so, the story left me with two questions: where are the pictures of Rihanna topless and… well, okay, maybe it was just one question. All the same, I loved reading that Rihanna was nice to the man despite his objections to her video. Class act.

Here’s what I love about Rihanna – she isn’t perfect and one gets the impression that she knows that but she stills has boundless confidence and isn’t afraid to show off her body. She has the sort of body I dream of having. She is curvy in all the right places but toned and fit. As she performs at the Nilson Nelson Arena in Brasilia, Rihanna grabs a handful of my favorite part of her body – her ass. I imagine that’s the best part about being Rihanna. She gets to grab her ass whenever she wants to. I’m sure if I tried I’d get slapped. It’d be totally worth it though.
