I know that these shots were taken from the Premios Juventud 2013 Awards in Miami and are therefore very, very old but do I care? Nope – not even a little. Why? Because look at Miss Jennifer Lopez in them. Old or new, these photos are hot. I will freely admit that I like Jennifer the person more than Jennifer the singer. I mean, I can count the number of Lopez songs I listen to on a regular basis on one hand but I would still love to see her live in concert. I think it would be a heck of an experience. She clearly puts a lot of herself into her live shows and I really like that. Plus, ya know, those costumes. Incredible. In-cred-i-ble!

You know, it’s weird. There are a lot of Jennifer Lopez songs I like but there are just as many that I loathe yet despite that fact, I would absolutely love the opportunity to see Lopez in concert. I really don’t think Jennifer Lopez concerts are all about the music. They’re also about entertainment and just sitting back and enjoying the show this woman puts on. These photos of Jennifer performing live at  Palacio de los Deportes, Madrid seem to back that belief up. She looks like she lives for the stage – like she was born to be there. It’s sometimes hard for me to remember that she started out as an actress and transitioned to the world of music. I don’t think she has the best voice in the business but her performances are always a spectacle. It’s no wonder she’s in such great shape. She gets a workout every time she hits the stage.

Rumor has it Nigel Lithgow isn’t convinced Jennifer Lopez is really done with “American Idol”. He’s the executive producer so you’d think he’d know. He is hoping she’ll decide to return and share the judge’s panel with newly appointed judge, Mariah Carey. Hmmm … I’m not sure he’s thought that one through. I can’t see the purpose of having two pop-divas on the panel. I can’t even imagine how they’d get along. I suppose it doesn’t really matter because I’m pretty convinced Jennifer’s leaving even if Nigel isn’t. It’s a shame too. Just look at these performance pics of Jennifer Lopez in New Jersey. The woman really knows how to put on a show. She might not be the most talented singer but she commands the stage and I think that counts for a lot in pop music. Plus she’s hot. Super hot. I guess we’ll see how it all plays out in the next few weeks.

Brazil has some passionate music fans. If you need evidence, just check out the tweets to some of today’s most popular music artists. Just glancing over them briefly, you’ll see dozens of requests for said artist to perform in Brazil. Jennifer Lopez heard that call (or more likely her manager did) and hit the stage at the Arte Music Festival in Brazil and thank heavens she did. This woman couldn’t be more beautiful. Sometimes I find myself just staring at her face and thinking about how perfect her bone structure is. Stunning doesn’t begin to cover it. Am I a fan of her music? Not so much but I’m a big fan of how she looks while she performs it, so I guess that’s half the battle.

I know I’ve spoken of my change of heart on the subject of Jennifer Lopez before, but I would like to revisit the subject in honor of these pictures. I’d always heard Jennifer Lopez was a diva and I’d always assumed it was true because the woman is so fierce on stage. Normally when you hear about a strong, confident woman, you also hear about their diva antics. After watching her on ‘American Idol’ though it became pretty clear that motherhood had softened the once fiery female. I wondered what that meant for her music career. Looking at these pictures from the Summertime Ball at Capital Radio’s London, I have decided it doesn’t mean anything for her career. She still owns the stage. She still rocks the crowd. She’s still that fierce diva, but she’s a fierce diva with a soft side and I love her even more for it.

J Lo made the most of her assets during her recent performance at the Sanremo Festival in Italy. The 40 year old sexy singer and actress was in a stunning black studded skin tight cat suit showing off her voluptuous back. Jennifer created a great mood among the audience with her song ’If you have got it, flaunt it’. She also performed her recently released single ‘What is Love?’ making the night a memorable one for the audience. Her performance in San Remo was to mark the fourth night of the festival, which has reached its 60th anniversary. After this stunning performance, Jennifer proved to the world that she still has that magic in her voice.
