When I heard Kate Hudson was going to be appearing on Glee, I was ecstatic. I love this woman. I think she’s talented, beautiful and down to earth. Then I saw her guest spot on the show and was woefully disappointed. Her part was okay, I guess. I was just expecting far, far more. Remember Gwyneth Paltrow’s guest spot on the show? That spot singlehandedly made me like Gwyneth again. It showed off her range and versatility. It showed off her talent as a vocalist. It showed she had a sense of humor about herself. Kate’s role did none of that and it really made me sad. Ah well, she looks hot in these photos. I guess that counts for something.

Seriously, Glee? No more Mark Salling? No more Harry Shum Jr.? No more Jenna Ushkowitz? No more Heather Morris? Screw that. This news has made me a very unhappy Gleek. Well, to be fair, I understand Heather Morris. As I understand it, she wants to take some time off from her career to focus on being a mom which is certainly admirable but as for the rest? Nope – not happy. I know last season featured very little Puck so it shouldn’t make a huge difference but I wasn’t happy with the lack of Puck so there’s that. Mark Salling was one of my favorite Glee cast members. There is only one reason I will be tuning in next season and that reason is pictured here in Malibu. Naya Rivera is a stunningly beautiful, extremely talented young lady and I will continue to tune into Glee as long as Naya is on the show. Keep that in mind Glee people. You can’t afford to lose viewers at this point.

I don’t really believe in having a guilty pleasure. If something brings you pleasure and it doesn’t involve hurting something, why feel guilty about it? That is why I say Glee is not my guilty pleasure. I enjoy the show and have since season one. I enjoy it less now than I used to but I still tune in every time it’s on. I do have a lot of complaints about the direction of the show and my biggest complaint is featured prominently in a bikini in these photos from Hawaii. I love Naya Rivera. I think she’s beautiful, talented and all of that good stuff. I also think she’s woefully underused on Glee. Santana Lopez is one of the most interesting characters on the show. Why not give her some new and interesting stories to sink her teeth into? The overall quality of the show would improve by leaps and bounds. Mark my words.

So Glee is coming back for another season. There was a time that would’ve excited me but to be honest, the last few seasons have fallen a little short of my expectations. I’m not sure I’ll keep watching if this season doesn’t pick up a little bit – or a lot, as the case may be. These photos of Lea Michele on the set of “Glee” in New York worry me. Lea looks hot, sure – love the outfit she’s wearing in that first photo but it’s not very “Rachel Berry”. Rachel has always been my least favorite character but I don’t want to see them completely change who her character is just because she went off to New York. I guess I’ll have to wait and see but based on these pictures, I’m concerned. Surprise me, Glee!

Way back when Naya Rivera’s Santana Lopez was nothing more than a background character on Glee, rumors circulated that Naya was dating her dreamy Glee co-star Mark Saling (Puck, for those who were never as Glee-sessed as me). Rumors also circulated that the two had a nasty split and Naya either busted the windows out of his car, keyed her car, slashed his tires or tried to run him over. I don’t think any were true but there are a whole lot of people out there that believe it was probably all of the above, relishing in painting a strong woman like Naya with the psycho brush. Now… Naya is going through a new breakup and we’re starting to hear some of those rumors again. I’d like to think the rumors were false then and are false now. It wouldn’t be the first time a guy has used previous bad press to hurt his famous ex but, well… I’m just gonna leave it at that.

I’m a big, big Dianna Agron fan even though I haven’t really been much of a Glee fan over the last few seasons. I haven’t seen her in much outside of the show but what I have seen her in has been enjoyable enough. I think she’s a beautiful young lady with a lot going for her. She’s a talented actress – more talented than her time on Glee would have many people believe. I’m looking forward to seeing more of her in the years to come. I think she has what it takes to stick around in the long run.
