Mariah Carey received her Video Vanguard Award at the 7th annual MTV Video Music Awards. This event was held at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan, on Saturday, May 31. Mariah looked beautiful in her low cut dress that exposed her bust and sexy legs. Her husband, Nick Cannon, had accompanied her on this trip. When they were asked about their married life, both of them replied that they loved being married.
While some of us may not know the name Holly Valance, rest assured there are tones of people in Australia, Japan and the UK that do. Holly started out on “Neighbors”, the popular Australian soap opera before moving on to modeling and singing. Her first single “Kiss Kiss” topped the charts in Australia and the UK and was certified Platinum in Australia and Gold in the UK. Although she hasn’t yet been able to recapture that success, it definitely helped solidify her place in the business. Even though I’ve been very successful and very fortunate, I want to still be challenged and still be nervous and still be anxious about all the things that make my career exciting.” She went on, “Sasha Fierce is my alter ego, and now she has a last name. I have someone else that takes over when it’s time for me to work and when I’m on stage, this alter ego that I’ve created that kind of protects me and who I really am. That’s why half the record, I am., is about who I am underneath all the makeup, underneath the lights, and underneath all the exciting star drama. And Sasha Fierce is the fun, more sensual, more aggressive, more outspoken side and more glamorous side that comes out when I’m working and when I’m on the stage. The double album allows me to take more risks and really step out of myself, or shall I say, step more into myself, and reveal a side of me that people only know me see.”
The Heroes star Hayden Panettiere is having some dolphin adventure as she swims down under in her white bikini with the dolphins in Bahamas. It will be a no surprise if Beth Cooper of I Love You, Beth Cooper will do this because in 2007, she has joined with Sea Shepherd helping to disrupt the annual dolphin hunt in Taiji, Wakayama, Japan. She has the heart of our sea creatures particularly the dolphins and this is a good way of showing some love to the environment. Hayden looks naturally beautiful in these photos, as she wore no make-up at all. It is nice to hear that many are still with natural creatures nowadays. Kudos to Hayden!

Liv Tyler and her co-star, Edward Norton, graced the premiere of their movie, “The Incredible Hulk.†The celebrities were in Japan as their movie made its debut on July 29. Liv was dressed in one of those transparent dresses that had an inner lining to prevent you from seeing anything. Recently, her paternal grandmother, Susan Ray Tallarico, passed away. Liv has revealed that she would like to sing in a musical. She wants to follow her father’s footsteps and become a singer.
