Well, I suppose that’s not entirely true. There are some Whitney Port photos I’ve seen that I really like, but for the most part, I don’t really see anything all that special about her. She’s pretty, sure but is she really that pretty. When I apply my mall test to her, she doesn’t pass. What is the mall test? Basically, I imagine myself in the mall and picture seeing the person in question walk past me. Would she turn my head? Whitney would not. There are girls in my town I find more attractive than Whitney. At the same time, I kind of like that Whitney isn’t the typical blond bombshell. I like Whitney Port. Well, I like Whitney Port about as much as I can like a reality television star. Unlike so many of her contemporaries, Whitney doesn’t seem to be trying every desperate trick in the book to hold on to her fame and I find that appealing. I love these photos of Whitney with her friends on a Miami beach. She just looks like a regular girl having a good time with some pals. She doesn’t seem to be trying too hard to be sexy for the cameras snapping away at her every move and I like that. I’m not a fan of people who get famous for appearing on reality shows but Whitney may make me reconsider my position yet.

Out of all the reality stars out there, I think Whitney Port may be my favorite. It should be noted that I’m not exactly the biggest fan of reality stars so that probably isn’t the compliment it appears to be. I guess that’s not entirely fair. I do like Whitney and I actually like her quite a bit, but that has a lot to do with the fact that she doesn’t seem as desperate to hold on to her fame as some of her contemporaries. Sure she isn’t the most traditionally attractive woman at the pool but I think that makes her more appealing in a strange sort of way. Here hanging out with some friends at a Miami pool, Whitney looks like she’s having a great time and she looks lovely while she’s doing it.

I have to admit voyeur shots like these ones of Whitney Port don’t really appeal to me. It looks like the photographer was hiding behind bushes snapping shots of her which makes me feel a little creepy for looking at them. I guess that’s part of being a celebrity. Whitney is mostly known for her stint of vapid reality show “The Hills” and since the show ended she’s mostly stayed out of the spotlight but clearly she still has a little clout. Photographers love her and while I’m not exactly her biggest fan, I do like getting to see pictures of her every now and again. She’s one of those celebs I like more in a more casual sort of setting. Whitney looks her best when she’s relaxed and casual, like she is here in Miami.

I’ve been pretty honest about my less than affectionate attitude toward reality stars but there’s something about Whitney Port I’m really beginning to appreciate. Perhaps I like Whitney because she doesn’t seem desperate to extend her fifteen minutes of fame. She isn’t the hot commodity she once was but she seems to be okay with that. You don’t see her out staging awkward photo ops or getting involved in trashy scandals to keep her name in the headlines. More than that, Whitney is perfectly fine leaving the house in comfortable clothes like the outfit she’s wearing in these photos as she treats herself to a pedicure in Los Angeles. I might not respect her claim to fame but I definitely respect what she’s done with it.

You gotta hand it to Whitney Port. She isn’t afraid to get snapped in her casual clothes – something not a lot of babes in the entertainment industry can claim. On top of that, I find her somewhat appealing in this set of pictures which isn’t something I say about Whitney very often. Sure she’s pretty but as far as Hollywood types go, I don’t really find her anything special. That’s true here too but I like the red hair, I like the relaxed sort of vibe and while I still don’t think she’s all that special, she looks good. She has incredible legs and I love that she doesn’t feel the need to wear heels to accentuate those legs.
