I want to start this off my saying it’s entirely possible that I’m completely wrong about these pictures of Katherine Heigel because I’m very biased. I don’t like this girl. Well, that’s not entirely true. I like her as an actress and I find her attractive but her general attitude toward her former costars and the people that helped make her who she is really bugs me. Anyway, that’s not the point. While I don’t like Katherine as a celebrity, I usually like pictures of her because, as I said, I think she’s hot but I’m not feeling these pictures at all. I love pictures of celebs out about in their normal, every day clothes but first, I don’t find this particular outfit flattering on her and second, those sunglasses drive me crazy. They look like giant saucers stuck to her face. I’m probably just being too harsh but it’s been that kind of day.
Sorry but you dont have any clue about her general attitude just ridiculous stories that vilify the poor woman in the press. They paint her as this diva and it just not true. In fact to anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting her you would know how ridiculous that notion is. She is one of the kindest and most giving and humble celebrities out there.
No need to be sorry, Dan. I welcome feedback, especially if I got something wrong. Of course I’ve not met her so I have nothing to go on other than her public persona. That’s the nature of celebrity culture. I’ve met people I admired and respected only to learn my impressions were completely wrong. I’ve had it go the other way too. I’m not just referring to the rumors about her being a diva though. I’m referring to the public statements she’s made about past films she’s worked on. Her comments about “Knocked Up” especially bother me. I didn’t love the film but it just seemed rude to slam it in public like she did. I have the same problems with Megan Fox, Robert Downey Jr and even one of my favorite actors, Johnny Depp. It comes across as a slap in the face to the people that hired the performer and worked hard to get the movie out there. It’s about appearing to be ungrateful and self-centered. Again though, I don’t know the woman and it’s entirely possible I’m completely wrong about her. If that’s the case, I’d offer my sincerest apologies. With that said, it’s my job to give my impression of people though and sometimes that impression isn’t nice. Sometimes that impression is wrong. I would love for her to prove me wrong though because she’s an incredibly beautiful woman and a talented actress. Of course, I’m just a writer that sits behind my computer all day. She has absolutely nothing to prove to me and I’m pretty sure she couldn’t care less. She’s more successful than I’ll ever be.
#Dan, are you trying to say that you met her? :)
I don’t think those glasses look that bad on her, surely. I mean, she could do worse. Plus I think they’d look a whole lot worse on a lot of other people than they do on her.
And, yes, I think it’s been that kind of day for you, so leave the gal alone, will ya?!!! Chocolate is zee answer, me dear, for whatever day you’ve had. Or ice cream. Or a good film. Or the warmth of a lover. :-)
Hope you’re having a better day today. :-)
I am having a much better day, thank you!
As for the sunglasses issue, I should’ve been a little more clear. I hate giant sunglasses on anyone, not just Katherine. I will agree that they look far better on her than they would look on a lot of people, myself included but in truth, I will be happy when the enormous sunglasses trend is over. Katherine has such beautiful eyes. It would be nice to see them.
Glad you’re having a better day, Wanda. :-)
Fortunately for you, I think those glasses will go away as far as fashion trends go. But, unfortunately for you, as is cyclical with certain trends, those glasses could come right back round again in some years or so and be uber fashionable again.
