I love Penelope Cruz. I think she’s classy, beautiful, talented and she looks damn good in a bikini, baby bump or no baby bump. I have always had a special place in my heart for pregnant women who aren’t ashamed of their bulging bellies. With that said, I find it a little … bizarre, we’ll say, when a woman feels the need to pose naked with the exposed baby bump for magazine covers and glossy photo spreads. It was inspiring when Demi Moore did it. She took control and proved that a woman can be pregnant and sexy. But it’s been done now. It’s been done and done and done. We get it. You’re proud of your belly and that’s cool but do we need to see a naked photo spread to be convinced? No! And Penelope Cruz has proved that in these shots from Barbados. She’s just out enjoying a nice day in a bikini. I think that’s fantastic.

The more I see Rumer Willis, the more I like her. For a long time, she was just the kid of someone famous to me. She had a few acting roles but nothing that really made her stand out for me as an actress. As time has passed, that has started to change. I think she has potential as an actress even if she’s not quite there yet but she also seems like a young lady that is in control of her life. I felt for her when mother Demi Moore was going through all the stuff she was going through but I thought Rumer handled the speculation beautifully. In a lot of ways, Rumer seems more mature and grounded than her mother and I respect her for that. Here in Cancun, Rumer is looking especially good. I haven’t always found her all that attractive but that too is changing. Is she partying too much? Perhaps but she’s a young girl in Cancun with her friends. Partying is sort of what one would expect in such a situation. I just hope she’s careful. I’d hate to see her go off the rails.

I like Rumer Willis in theory. I don’t think she’s the greatest actress on the planet and she’s not the most attractive woman in the industry, but I like her. She has fire. She’s feisty and I always like that in a woman. She also just keeps trying no matter how much people give her crap about only being famous because of her parents. I’m quite certain it would’ve been easy for someone like Rumer – the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis – to get a crappy reality show and build her fame (or infamy) that way, but Rumer went the legitimate route. I also applaud her for staying drama free. There are no big scandals with this one and I appreciate that. She is trying to build her career the old fashioned way – by actually acting. Weird, isn’t it? I wish her all the best.
