I have a general rule of thumb. If you can ignore something, choose not to buy it, choose not to watch it or choose to change the channel, you shouldn’t waste your breath complaining about it. I love Katy Perry. I share this rule because I had an argument with a friend the other night over whether or not this new Katy Perry movie is a sign the end of the world really is coming. My opinion? Of course it doesn’t and getting so bent out of shape about something as silly as a pop star’s movie seems a little ridiculous. I think the movie looks terrible but I’ll watch anyway because I like Katy. If you don’t like Katy, don’t watch. Seems pretty simple to me. Here at the “Katy Perry Part of Me” Premiere in Hollywood, Katy is her usual adorable self and she looks like she’s having a great time. I look forward to seeing her first movie even if I’m not expecting a whole lot.

Oh Paris Hilton. I want to hate you but I just can’t. There’s something about you I find endlessly interesting. Perhaps it’s the fact that you just sort of seem to trip through life with your head in the clouds, never really taking notice of what’s happening around you. Here in Hollywood, we get some what I like to call “Classic Paris”. Her dress is hiked up to her waist, there are cameras all around here but she seems blissfully unaware more upskirt shots are about to flood the internet. Paris Hilton. What a classy lady. Seriously though, I give Paris a hard time but I do like her. I don’t know why I like her and I feel a little dirty for it, but I do. I’m complex.

Shauna Sand is like an old beat up classic car that someone has lovingly restored in their garage. Many of the original parts have been worked on, cleaned up or completely replaced but after a lot of work and a lot of money, the end result looks pretty sweet. Honestly though, I honestly don’t believe there is a woman in Hollywood that out-trashes Shauna. I have to admit though, here at a Medical Marijuana Store in Hollywood, Shauna looks a little less trashy than usual. Her usual lucite heels have been replaced with something a little more modest. Those lips though – good heavens. Anyway, Shauna Sand … I don’t know what else to say about this woman. I do like the dress though although if I were to wear it, there would probably be jeans under it.

There was a time when I couldn’t stand Jennifer Lopez and that time wasn’t really all that long ago. She had that whole diva persona going on and it just turned me off. I always thought she was beautiful but that diva-tude sort of ruined that for me. After spending the last two seasons watching her on “American Idol” though, I have to say my perception of her has changed completely. She comes across as so much more down to earth and grounded on the show than I would’ve expected. Here in Rio de Janeiro, we get to see another thing I love about Jennifer – her love for her children. She just seems so happy and at peace when she’s with her children. Of course it doesn’t hurt that she also looks fabulous.

I have been seeing Jenny McCarthy around for years and years now and it seems like she hasn’t aged at all. Maybe she has had a little help from a plastic surgeon but in all honesty, I think her youthful appearance can be attributed, at least in part, to her youthful attitude. Jenny has always struck me as the type of girl that just loves having fun. She’s free spirited, speaks her mind and doesn’t care about being prim and proper all the time. I respect that and I find that appealing. Jenny just is who she is. She always has been and she has never apologized for that. Is she a bit trashy? Sure, but she completely owns it. Love this woman and I love these pictures.

Well maybe she really didn’t rescue anyone but she definitely helped a young girl that collapsed on her lawn. Apparently Jennifer was getting ready to take her dog for a walk when she noticed a young girl lying unconscious on her lawn. She called 911 and sat with the girl until help arrived. From what I understand, the girl was fine in the end, possibly thanks to Jennifer’s quick response. Now that we’ve talked about that whole thing, let’s take a moment to discuss how Jennifer looks in these photos. I’d have to say she looks pretty darn good. I didn’t really care for “The Hunger Games” (I know, I know) but I really enjoy Jennifer. I think she’s a beautiful, talented young actress that has a bright future ahead of her. I can’t wait to see where it takes her.
