In my always humble opinion, Selena Gomez really got it right. While a teen face base is great and surprisingly loyal, they also have a notoriously short attention span. Selena (or more likely, her team) recognize that and she’s now moving toward a more mature audience. What she isn’t doing, however, is turning her back on the fans that got her to where she is. Instead of bursting back onto the scene with a super sexual new image that often alienates younger fans, Selena is gradually evolving. Here in Puerto Rico, we see a sexier side of Selena but no a sleazy one. She looks stunning but most importantly, she still looks classy. She’s leaving something to the imagination and to me, that’s far sexier than letting everything hang out. It’s also not compromising her morals or relying on her body and her looks to sell her work. I respect this girl more and more every day.

So I suppose I have to mention Katy Perry’s impending divorce from Russell Brand. There, I’ve mentioned it. Let’s move on. I think Katy is an absolutely adorable young woman that is complete, one hundred percent in control of her public image and how she wants people to see her. She can play up the sex appeal when she wants to but she can also play it down and look like the cute girl next door. She can be edgy. She can be outrageous and, as these photos of her filming a commercial for Adidas show, she can be just another normal girl working out. Sure she has blue hair but a lot of people like to play with their hair color. When I was in my teens, I used to dye my hair all sorts of crazy colors just to change things up. I love Katy and wish her nothing but continued success.

It’s confession time, people. Are you ready? Here goes… *deep breath* I used to be a Tila Tequila fan. I don’t know how it happened. I was young, wild and confused. I wanted to fit in and all my friends liked her. I guess it was peer pressure – kinda like how I ended up smoking. Regardless, I tirelessly defended her against the ‘haters’ until one day, I too became one of the haters. Okay, that’s not entirely accurate. I don’t actually hate her. I just… dislike her in a very strong way. It has everything to do with her tireless campaigning to further her fifteen minutes of fame; fifteen minutes that were about about an hour ago by my watch. All the same, here are some pictures of Tila as she ‘performs’ at F World Splash Bar in New York. Enjoy?

I really had no idea what to come up with for a title for this one. I mean, technically, Selena Gomez isn’t sunbathing topless as she stays concealed but she has untied her bikini top and that’s kind of topless, isn’t it? I don’t know. I guess you have to do what you have to do to avoid those nasty tan lines. I like Selena in a weird sort of way. I like these pictures of her, taken in Orlando, because they show her just sort of relaxing and being a normal teenager. Of course, as these pictures hit the press, so too did rumors that she and Justin Bieber have broken up. Apparently those rumors aren’t true but I don’t know how anyone would be surprised. They’re just young things yet. For now though, all is well with Selena and Justin.

Miley Cyrus is a woman now and she wants everyone to know it. She is no longer the little girl that made Hannah Montana a household name. The Disney days are far behind her. I mean, just look at the dress she’s wearing here with the Bieber at Madison Square Garden. She flaunts her body for money right alongside her poptart peers and yeah, she looks pretty darn good. My problem is that I miss the old Miley. Sure she can’t be tamed. We get it. She’s a young girl breaking free of her good girl bonds. The problem with that is I can’t help but wonder if she was ever really a good girl at all. She has been playing staring roles in scandals since she was sixteen. If she really wants to be taken seriously in the music industry, she has to start putting out some decent music and stop flaunting her body. I mean, it’s all very been there done that at this point and in Miley’s case, it’s been there, done that, seen better.

17 year old Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus and her actor boyfriend Liam Hemsworth were spotted at the Universal Studios theme park. Though Miley is not a great artist, she has an immense teen following which makes her hot property. Spotted in a black sweater and black shorts she looked presentable. When Miley tried the wet ride, she was spotted without her black sweater in a white sleeveless vest which upheld the young icon image. Though Miley was not looking great in whatever she was wearing, the only thing added to her personality on that day were her shades.
