Oh come on, Maria Sharapova. I’ve defended you and defended you but then you show up in lingerie for the Dream For Future Africa Foundation Gala? This is just too much. Dressing like a slut on the red carpet is pretty much par for the course but at a charity gala? Ugh. Just … ugh. I’m sure most of the guys looking at this post are going to be pretty happy with the photos and in the end, I think that’s all Maria was after here – attention. All the same, these photos just make me sad. Ah well. I guess I’ll just accept that I’m out of the target demographic on this look and move on.

I have a lot of respect for women with confidence. I really do. So I should really respect Kim Kardashian because, say what you want about her, she definitely has a lot of confidence. Of course, there is a fine line between confidence and arrogance and that is why I don’t really care for Kim. She doesn’t just cross that line, she does cartwheels over it. I love her and Kanye West as a couple because I don’t think they could possibly be more perfect for each other. Kim bugs me. She really does but I can’t deny she looks pretty damn good most of the time. Oddly enough, I don’t find that true in these photos. She looks alright, I guess, kind of but I’m not really loving the outfit. It seems ill fitting and a little desperate. Don’t worry, Kim. If your star starts to fade, you can always just pop out another kid. Seemed to do the trick last time.

Eva Longoria is one of those women that people either love or hate. That rarely has anything to do with her talent or even her looks. No, Eva is not such a polarizing figure because of what she does or how she looks. She’s such a polarizing figure because of what she says. If I’m being completely honest, I’ll have to admit I can see where her detractors are coming from sometimes. I don’t always agree with the things Miss. Longoria says but I definitely respect her for having the guts to voice her opinions, even when she knows the opinion will not be a popular one. For me, Eva is the total package. She’s beautiful, talented and she isn’t afraid to speak her mind. I think the entertainment industry needs more women like Eva, although it would be nice to see a few beautiful women representing the other side every now and again. I wonder why on earth that doesn’t happen. Nope. Can’t see any reason for it at all.

yeah … not really loving these shots. I adore Petra Nemcova in ways that can’t be expressed with mere words yet these photos are leaving me feeling a little underwhelmed. It’s sad, really because I really want to like them and I can’t even say what it is about these shots that I don’t like. She looks pretty. I like her outfit yet something about these shots just feels off to me. I guess that’s the way it goes sometimes though. They can’t all be winners. I’m sure the next set of Petra Nemcova pictures I get will blow me away with all the hotness.

I want to be best friends with Demi Lovato. Sure she’s a bit younger than me but I think we’d have a lot of fun together. We could talk about music and … whatever it is people her age talk about with their friends. It’s kind of weird though. I have some weird older sister instincts when it comes to Demi. I’m very protective of her. Perhaps I feel like I know what she’s gone through or perhaps I just know what it’s like to struggle through the troublesome teenage years. Either way, it irks me when people talk trash about someone who has clearly had a rough go of it at certain points in her life. I respect Demi in a way I respect few young celebrities. She owned up to her problems and took steps to try to improve herself. That takes guts. I appreciate that. I think more entertainers should be like her. She’s an excellent role model in a world where there are few excellent role models to be found.

For a few months a while back, Megan Fox seemed to be everywhere. Someone was always talking about how how she was or how she said something shocking and outrageous in an interview. Then … well, things cooled down. We didn’t see Megan as much and I liked that. I liked that a lot. Sometimes when someone is everywhere, the best thing they can do is back off a bit and wait for the right time to pop up again. While I think this is a fairly old photoshoot, it reminds me of how much I loved Megan before I got tired of her. How much did I love her? A whole lot. It seems like it’s been forever and a day since I’ve seen her so this was a nice treat. Maybe the time as come for her to step back into the spotlight again. She would be wise to avoid being quite so crazy in the press this time though. While I like an outspoken woman, being shocking for the sake of being shocking gets old fast and can make an actress (or an actor, let’s be fair) seem ungreatful.
