If you read my Katherine Webb post from a few hours ago, you may be wondering how I can say no one remembers her while writing about Paris Hilton like she’s still a celebrity. Here’s the truth – Paris is still a huge celebrity, especially overseas. Her habit of getting involved with scandals every so often has helped keep her name in the headlines, a strategy that likely would’ve worked wonderfully for Miss. Webb were she not far too good to participate in such antics. Paris is all about being rich and famous and I’ve a feeling, she’ll do everything she can to stretch her 15 minutes out as long as possible. Is she as famous as she once was? Absolutely not but she’s also far from forgotten about.
I dunno, man. Adrianne Curry is super smoking crazy hot and all and this costume she’s wearing here is just about as sexy as sexy can get but I’m still feeling kind of meh over these shots. It doesn’t make any sense. I love how Adrianne looks in these photos. I love her body, her hair, her makeup… everything about the look works for me but for some reason, I’m still kind of yawning over here. I guess it’s just one of those things. I see Adrianne looking super hot all the time. Maybe I’m just kind of bored with her overall. In any event, I know I’m probably going to be about the only person on this website that kinds these shots boring so we’ll call that a victory for Adrianne. Enjoy!
A few months ago, I noticed something taking place on the Selena Gomez posts I did – people seemed to like to congregate there to argue about whether Selena Gomez sucks or is just about the best thing ever. There doesn’t seem to be a middle ground in the debate – until now. That’s right. I am the middle ground. I don’t have much of an opinion about her one way or the other. On one hand, she didn’t go quite as nuts as her on again off again boyfriend. On the other hand, she still went pretty nuts. That bugs me because I used to champion Miss. Gomez. I held her up as a great example of young celebs who were making it work and clearly she made an enormous fool out of me. I find it hard to look at these snaps of Selena Gomez on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” in Los Angeles without imagining what her future will be. Not fun.
The other day I wrote a post about Ashley Tisdale having the potential to be successful if she plays her cards right and immediately after that post went up, a friend e-mailed me to ask me why I thought Vanessa Hudgen’s career was going to crash and burn. I will address that issue now. I don’t think Vanessa is going to do poorly. She’s a beautiful young woman who really can act and has done some decent work in her time. She’s also got name recognition although that could hurt her depending on your perspective. I just happen to think Ashley has made more progress toward getting out of the High School Musical shadow. All that aside though, how gorgeous does Vanessa look in these shots taken at Ischia Global Festival? I love Vanessa. I really do and I’m sure she’ll have a long, happy career, as long as she makes smart personal and career choices. No more nude selfies leaking on the internet. Just pose for Playboy and get it over with. It worked for Drew Barrymore.
