It’s been a little while since I’ve had the opportunity to gush about Rihanna so I’m a pretty happy girl right now. I know not everyone that comes here is a Rihanna fan and I sometimes take a little crap for talking about how much I like her but I’m an honest girl and I honestly love Rihanna. Here performing at her Loud Tour in Brazil, Rihanna looks incredible. I love the outfit and I love the way she moves on stage. Aside from all that, I have always been a big fan of a pretty girl in fishnets, especially a pretty girl in fishnets with no pants to speak of. Way to bring it, Rihanna.

The other day, I had some rather unkind things to say about Rihanna’s choice of swimsuit in Barbados. Today, I have only slightly nicer things to say about Rihanna’s newest pictures from Barbados. I… like the outfit in theory. It’s fun, unique, colorful and shows off her body but… really? The high waisted pants have never worked for anyone anywhere. They draw attention to the stomach and not in a good way. Rihanna isn’t fat in the least, but high waisted pants or shorts make just about any woman look like they’re carrying a little extra weight around the midsection. I do like the hair though.

I know I’ve professed my love for Rihanna a million times on this website but I haven’t yet had the opportunity to express my love of Bob Marley. Leave it to Rihanna to give me the chance to do both at the same time. Love Rihanna, love Bob Marley… don’t love these pictures. Rihanna just isn’t really looking her best here although it is nice to see her relaxing and having a good time in Barbados. I definitely appreciate a girl that knows how to have fun and kick back. I don’t know if it’s the hair or the not entirely flattering one piece bathing suit, but something about these pictures just doesn’t do it for me. I’ve seen hotter pictures of Rihanna but I still love the girl and I love that she paid tribute to Marley.

Sure the mesh dress looks to be over a bikini but I still think it’s sexy. I like Rihanna. I like her a lot. To be honest, I don’t understand all the hate she gets. She’s a pretty girl, she makes catchy pop music that apparently a lot of people enjoy (but few people seem to want to admit liking) and she seems fun. I like her fiery attitude and yes, I even like the hair. Here in Miami, Rihanna looks sexy in an adorable kind of way and I like that about her. She can go from outrageous diva to adorable girl next door to sexy siren seamlessly. I always look forward to seeing new pictures of Rihanna.

I hate to say this but at this point, I have to. Is it my imagination or is Rihanna looking a little chunky. Maybe it’s the underwear/bikini she’s wearing on stage, but those rolls on her side just aren’t very attractive. I love Rihanna. I love Rihanna more than I love puppies, but honestly, she hasn’t been looking her best lately and here at her concert in Baltimore things are no different. Perhaps the controversy over her new video ‘Man Down’ is weighing on her. It shouldn’t be. I’ve watched the video and, as usual the PTC has completely over reacted. Regardless of the little rolls on her belly in some of the pictures though, Rihanna looks pretty good. I’ve always liked the red hair and although I prefer it longer, it looks good like this too. I’m just not sure if she made the right choice for her outfit this time.

I know I’ve made it pretty clear in past posts that I love me some Rihanna. The girl is strong, confident and bold and I admire that. I’m not typically big on pop music, but I like most of what I’ve heard by Rihanna. That said, I’m not sure I’m really feeling these pictures from her performance on the ‘Today Show’. I mean, maybe it’s my childish imagination, but does it or does it not kind of look like Ri-Ri has gas in some of these pictures. I mean, in one, it really looks to me like she’s passing gas into the microphone. She still looks hot though? Nope, I’m sorry. I just can’t get over the whole gas thing. Love you, Rihanna, but I’m not a big fan of this particular set of pictures.
