On July 16, it was decided that Australia’s Big Brother will end this season, despite last minute attempts at revival by placing Pamela Anderson in a guest appearance. Big Brother in Down Under had been diligently airing for 7 years and its retirement had been foreseen. Pamela had delivered a letter to a KFC franchise in Australia. The letter contained a protest against inhuman chicken rearing methods. KFC denied using those kinds of chicken farms.
