Well, it sure just got hot in here. Thanks for that, Sophie Turner. My good heavens – just look at the body on this woman. In these photos, taken at Hermosa Beach, California, we see Sophie looking just as gorgeous as ever and then some. A while back, I wrote that I wanted to like Sophie but said there was something about her that rubbed me the wrong way. I don’t know what I was thinking. I think I may have hit my head before I wrote that post or something because I was clearly not thinking straight. Any doubts I had about Sophie disappeared long ago. Love her and I absolutely adore these photos.

Ah, these pictures are fantastic, aren’t they? They’re just too much fun. First, I’m a big fan of Cheryl Burke and Kelly Monaco so it’s great to see these two lovely ladies having fun at a Malibu beach house. Second, I think Shanna Moaker is an incredibly beautiful woman even though I don’t like her a whole lot as a person. I don’t have a third but do I really need one? I mean, come on – just look at these photos. These girls are having a great time hanging out together. Wish I was there. It looks like it really was a lot of fun.

Now this is much, much closer to the Paris Hilton I know and love. The last time I posted about Paris, I kind of gave her a hard time about a rather shapeless, unflattering dress she was wearing and while the outfit she’s wearing here still isn’t quite showing off the Paris I’m used to seeing, it is a vast improvement. Paris looks good here in these shots snapped in Malibu. It’s a casual kind of outfit but I think that really works well for Paris. I’m not sure about the top (bathing suit, maybe?) but I do like the look overall. It’s got a sexy kind of vibe going on thanks to the little glimpses of skin we get. The more I write about these pictures the more I like them. Maybe this isn’t quite the Paris I’m used to seeing but maybe that’s a good time. Maybe I like this Paris more.

I think Rihanna is stunning. I think she’s just absolutely gorgeous. I don’t care if she’s all glammed up for a photoshoot or keeping it casual as she is in these photos that were snapped in Monaco. In all honesty, I almost prefer these more candid shots because they give us a look at who Rihanna really is. She isn’t the girl the public sees if they just look at videos,  red carpet photos, performance pictures and photoshoots. She’s far more relaxed and laid back than some of her more “done up” looks might suggest. I think these photos really show that. I love this Rihanna. I would want to hang out with this Rihanna. I like glamorous Rihanna too but in a different way. I look at glammed up Rihanna and I want to stare at her for hours on end but I look at this candid Rihanna and I want to be her friend.

Is it really a nip slip if it’s apparently intentional? I mean, Jennifer Nicole Lee took her bikini top off at a pool in Miami with cameras snapping away. She couldn’t have been surprised that a little nipple made an appearance. I typically don’t care about nip slips because, hey, accidents happen, but I’m a little less forgiving when it comes to taking your bikini top off in front of the paparazzi. It just feels a little desperate. All the same, I won’t give Jennifer too much of a hard time about it. Maybe she didn’t know the cameras were there or maybe she just wanted to air out the girls and hey – nip slip or purposeful nip flashing aside, she looks pretty fantastic in these photos. I give Jennifer a hard time often enough that I can think I can let it slide this time.

Anna Friel is one of the most tragically underrated actresses in the entertainment industry. I absolutely adored her as Charles on Pushing Daisies – a show I still mourn the loss of, by the way – because she just really brought something special to that role. It was a weird show, for sure, but it was also a fantastic show. It was entertaining and whimsical in a very dark and twisted sort of way. Since the show went off the air (far, far too soon), I have seen Anna in anything and everything she’s been in. I want to see her back on television though. She’s such a beautiful, talented young woman. The world really does need more of her.
