Carrie Underwood performed a few songs at the CMA Music Festival. This was on Friday night, June 6. She showed more emotion and confidence as she could maintain her momentum without faltering. She was very popular. Some fans looked as young as 8 years old. They could remember the words to her songs and they sang along with her. Carrie had been working hard at live shows. She promoted herself personally and each of her show was usually a sell out.

Z100’s Zootopia with Miley Cyrus has shown a different side of Miley. Miley gave a sneak preview of her new album, which is called “Breakout.†Ths would be out in the stores on July 22. She has started to discard her old Hannah Montana image and songs. Miley’s new album would contain more standard pop songs. It would reach out to a wider mass market. Miley has also drawn inspiration from Blondie, rock and layered vocals.
There were rumors about Britney Spears being pregnant because of her increasing girth. We do not know for sure so let’s keep the level at rumors only. Britney has enjoyed a return to popularity as she returned to the sitcom How I Met Your Mother. Britney’s character, Abby, dated Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) but Abby could not make up her mind between Barney and Ted, her other crush. The producer left the ending open in the hopes that Britney would want to return again in the next season.
The Stagecoach Country Music Festival opened last Friday on May 2 2008. Taylor Swift was on stage to give a performance and a bonus upskirt peek.
This year’s Festival had an attendance of more than 55,000. The Eagles was the top touring band in the US presently. They opened the act with their songs from their new album “Long Road Out Of Eden.†There was a mix of rock and pop from the rest of the musicians, so it was not a soley country music festival.
