I’m not sure what Katy Perry is doing here. Is she hiding her mouth? She she picking her nose? I honestly don’t care either way. I enjoy these pictures regardless of what she’s doing. I always enjoy casual shots of Katy Perry because they really allow us to see a different side of her, and I like the side we’re seeing here. She just looks so relaxed and easygoing. It’s such a dramatic difference from the super-glam Katy we usually see. I think she looks pretty without all of that other stuff. Although these pictures are fairly uneventful, and maybe even a little boring, I still think she looks great.

Katy Perry performed at an event for children at President Obama’s inauguration in Washington and this is what she wore. Until Beyonce’s lip syncing scandal broke, this outfit was the event’s biggest controversy. People were talking about how inappropriate it was for a woman to be wearing this kind of outfit when she was supposed to be performing for kids. It’s a little ridiculous, really. She might be showing a little more skin than some performers may have felt comfortable showing but that’s part of her persona. I don’t think it was inappropriate at all. I’m certain kids have seen Katy showing at least this much skin before whether in her videos or photo shoots. There are a lot of issues in the world that really do have an impact on children. Katy Perry’s boobs are not among those issues. Let’s get real. She looks good and she probably put on a show the kids loved. Leave the controversy where it belongs.

So these photos of Katy Perry and new boyfriend, John Mayer, were snapped at a Rite Aid Pharmacy in Santa Barbara. Yes, this is what Katy Perry wears to Rite Aid. I’m okay with that. I think she looks incredible. I love the hair, the sun glasses – the whole look. I know John Mayer has a bit of a reputation for being a womanizer but if there’s anyone out there that can tame a guy like John, it’s a girl like Katy. I’m a big fan of both of these people as musicians and think they both get a lot of unnecessary hate. While I’m normally pretty skeptical about Hollywood romances, I hope this one works out. I’d love to see these two make it in the long run.

Katy Perry constantly surprises me. She’s a beautiful girl who likes to take risks with her look but every now and again, she chooses to just keep it simple. That’s what’s she’s really done here at the F1 Grand Prix of Singapore. There’s no crazy hair color and while the dress has a loud print and shows off a lot of cleavage, it’s fairly grounded compared with many of the other dresses Katy wears. She looks like the average (although smoking hot) woman here. This is an outfit any woman could wear and I love that. Sometimes all of the over the top extras Katy throws at us distract from what a beautiful girl she actually is. I do like her more out there outfits and hair styles sometimes but it’s also nice to see her go with a little less.

Katy Perry definitely has a flair for the dramatic and these photos are definitely a great example of that. With the wild hair and crazy outfits, it’s sometimes easy to forget how stunning she is underneath it all. While she’s definitely being helped out by her hair and makeup people here, the basic nature of some of these photos really gives you a chance to see how beautiful Katy really is. She has tremendous bone structure and by pulling her hair back into a tight bun, you really get to see that. I wish I could see more photos like these of Katy Perry. The first one literally made me gasp. Breathtaking. What a beautiful woman.
