It’s so fantastic to see gorgeous Iggy Azalea popping up on my assignments list more often. I love this girl. She’s talented, gorgeous and has a great sense of style. I have never really been a fan of bright colors in leather (or faux leather) pants but the look really works on Izzy. She has the attitude to pull it off. It’s also nice to see her looking for comfortable with paparazzi snapping photos of her as she’s out in New York. Some young stars have a hard time dealing with that sort of thing and while she doesn’t seem as comfortable as some of the seasoned pros we sometimes post photos of around here, she seems to be coping well. She probably has a lot of help. Everyone wants to get on the Iggy Azalea bandwagon and that should really not come as a surprise to anyone. This lady is going to be huge one day.

You know what’s great about this job? Sometimes a new artist I adore pops up on my assignment list and I get all excited to have the chance to write about her. Then, a few short hours later, she pops up on my assignment list again and I get to write about her again. It just makes my whole day. Such is the case with Iggy Azalea. I’ve really been getting into this girl over the last little while but haven’t had the opportunity to write about her. Just yesterday, that changed. I got to write about some great performance photos of this gorgeous young up and coming rapper and now here I am writing about another great set of photos of her, this time at the World War Z premiere In London. She looks just as gorgeous in these red carpet photos as she did in the performance photos I wrote about yesterday. This is a young lady to watch. I think she has a very bright future ahead of her.

You may not have heard of Iggy Azalea yet but you will. Trust me, you will. Iggy is a beautiful, talented young hip hop artist who has been generating considerable buzz in the hip hop community over the last few years and there’s a reason for that – she’s good. In these photos, we see Iggy performing at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Derry where she performed on the In New Music We Trust stage and I think that was the perfect place for her. She doesn’t have the biggest following just yet but it’s only a matter of time. She has the chops to succeed and a look that is certainly going to help her get the attention she needs to launch her career. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her.
