Selena Gomez is certainly no child but for some reason, I have a hard time not thinking of her that way. To me, Selena Gomez is still a child. I don’;t know if it’s her adorable baby face or something else, but something about her makes it hard for me to see her as an adult even though that’s clearly what she is. I don’t fault her for it. That sort of innocent little girl vibe really works for her, even when she’s wearing a bikini in Miami and looking all  kinds of sexy.
I have a soft spot for Selena Gomez even though I can’t quite figure out why. Of course she’s beautiful, talented and looks great in a bikini but it’s something more than that. Perhaps I like the fact that, unlike a lot of stars her age, she hasn’t been involved in any really serious scandals. She isn’t out partying and being crazy. She’s just a young girl that really seems to have her head screwed on straight. That’s so refreshing. In these photos of Selena in Miami, Florida, she seems like any other girl her age. She’s enjoying a little time by the pool and seems to be relaxed and carefree. I think Selena has a bright future in the entertainment industry as long as she keeps making smart choices.
I have really been gaining a whole new appreciation for Selena Gomez as of late. It’s clear that she’s trying to make the transition to a more mature target audience (or perhaps keep her current target interested as they themselves mature) but she hasn’t gone the trashy route like so many before her. She might wear somewhat revealing outfits on stage or at press events but nothing that even comes close to crossing the line. You know what I like most about Selena? She gets that there is a time and a place for everything. Take her bikini shots from Rio de Janeiro for example. We’re seeing more of her in these pictures than we’ve ever seen on stage or in the red carpet and that’s the way it should be.
So Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber kissed at the Billboard Music Awards and now we have these pictures of them roaming around in Hawaii together. I honestly have no idea what to say about these pictures. Other outlets are saying things about purity rings and all of that, but I don’t really care what these two crazy kids are up to when the cameras aren’t rolling. I think they make an adorable couple. I actually really like Selena Gomez. She’s pretty but not in the stereotypical way. Her music is fun. I think she is a good match for the Biebs. It doesn’t hurt that they’re both adorable, but I think Selena will help him keep his head on his shoulders. She seems to have done a pretty good job of keeping herself grounded.
Selena Gomez is one of the rare female celebrities that call pull off looking adorable and sexy at the same time. With a cute little dangling bow accent on her bikini top, Selena looks age appropriate while still showing the world she has what it takes to compete with her peers in the toned body race. Selena doesn’t look scary thin like many of the other girls that strut their stuff on the beach but rather looks curvy in all the right places. Selena has the body of a woman and the good grace to not completely flaunt it for the world to see. More stars her age should take their cues from Ms. Gomez. Sexy doesn’t have to be trashy.
While I’ve said in the past that I have a serious thing for bikini tops and denim shorts, it probably would’ve been more accurate to say denim shorts in general. I don’t know what it is about a nice pair of denim shorts but it’s definitely a thing for me. That could be part of the reason I’m so enamored with these shots of Selena Gomez and her friend out in Malibu. While her friend is certainly attractive in that bikini, I can’t take my eyes off Selena and those shorts. It’s nice to see a young women looking sexy without relying on flashing a lot of skin. I think Selena looks adorable here. What a little stunner.
