I love me some Christina Hendricks. She’s just so different from most of the other women in the entertainment industry today – the fiery red hair, the pale milky skin, the real woman curves… this woman is pretty near perfection, at least in my eyes. There’s just something about her that speaks to me. She seems like such a passionate, intense sort of woman. Her eyes just about kill me and she definitely knows how to stare at the camera so it feels like she’s looking right at you. While most people know her as Joan on AMC’s “Mad Men” I remember her as Saffron on Fox’s “Firefly”. I loved her then and I love her now. One of the most beautiful and talented actresses in Hollywood. I’m thrilled to see her getting so much recognition now.

It’s good to see a curvy woman, one that looks like she adores her food. I don’t think we see enough of those in the media apart from a handful of celebs or when a celeb is pregnant. There needs to be a variety of shapes and sizes shown – slim, athletic, curvy, voluptuous, uber-voluptuous – and not one shape given praise above another (which is what the media/ads tend to do).
Oh, she is absolutely gorgeous. Red hair, curvy, big-bosomed. Women come in all manner of shapes and sizes, but I’ve been seeing so much of one type that it’s nice to see someone like Christina for a change. Breath of fresh air.
