Just a few short hours ago, I posted a set of photos of Eva Longoria at the Devious Maids premiere party in Pacific Palisades and in that post, I talked about how I hadn’t been terribly excited about the show until I saw Eva Longoria would be involved. Now that I’ve seen this set of photos of Dania Ramirez at the same premiere, any doubts I have about the show have been completely erased. This is going to be one smoking hot cast. I also really like the whole soapy drama thing. It works for some of my favorites like Dallas, The Client List and Mistresses so I think it’ll work well for Devious Maids. If I’m being honest, I have to admit it was really the title of the show that made me a little unsure but hey, you shouldn’t just a show by the title, right? I’ll be checking this one out right away.

Oh how much do I love Eva Longoria? I love this lady like I love kittens and let me tell you, I am a lady that loves kittens. Eva looks incredible here in these photos snapped at premiere party for Lifetime Original Series Devious Maids. I didn’t have a lot of interest in seeing Devious Maids until I saw these photos and realized Eva Longoria is involved. Now I can say for certain I will be tuning in without a doubt. I would watch Eva in anything. I know she’s not exactly the most gifted actress in the industry but she’s certainly far from the worst. She’s a great comedic actress and plays characters on shows like this one really well. I really hope this one does well. Now that The Client List has ended for the season, I need a new nighttime soap to fill the gap. Devious Maids should fill that gap splendidly.

As most of you probably know, I’m a little hot and cold when it comes to Carmen Ortega. I’ve seen some absolutely stunning photos of her and I’ve seen other photos I didn’t like quite as much. These photos fall into the later category. She looks good, sure, but I don’t know. There’s just something about this set I’m not really feeling. Her body, as always, is incredible but there’s something going on here that I’m not crazy about. Perhaps I’m not really feeling the poses she’s striking here. Maybe it’s something about the way her hair and makeup has been done. In any event, these aren’t my favorite Carmen Ortega photos but they’re not really bad photos by any stretch of the imagination. They’re just not my cup of tea.

I’m not all that familiar with Cara Santana but I am very familiar with the hunk of man meat she’s attached at the mouth to in these photos taken in Monte Carlo. That sexy young man would be none other than Santana’s fiance, Jesse Metcalfe, also known as one of my biggest celebrity crushes. I have loved Jesse since his time on Desperate Housewives and only fell more in love after watching him on TNT’s super cheesy but still awesome remake (sequel?) of Dallas. I did a dance of joy when TNT picked Dallas up for a third season. I hope the ratings are good and we’ll get a fourth season. Of course, none of that really has anything to do with these photos so why don’t we get back to that. Jesse and Cara are clearly not shy about showing the world how happy they are and I kind of like that. I know a lot of people have problems with PDAs like this one but I think it’s cute. They make such a lovely couple. I really like these photos. I wish nothing but the best for these two.

I’m almost positive Farrah Abraham’s sex tape scandal has far more to do with her sudden lack of appeal than any changes in her appearance. I used to think this girl was a different kind of reality star. She seemed interested in working to extend her 15 minutes of fame (gained, by the way, for appearing on Teen Mom) and I appreciated that. Sure she rose to fame on a reality show but she was acting and modeling as well and I thought that was respectable. As it turns out though, I was pretty much entirely wrong about her. She isn’t much different than Heidi Montag, Courtney Stodden or any of the other little talent “media stars” that become famous for a scandal or a crappy reality show and then scratch and claw to extend that 15 minutes further. She’s just another reality star willing to do anything to stay in the spotlight, even if it means taking it up the rear on camera. I guess it worked for Kim Kardashian but at least Kim is hot. In these photos, snapped at a pool party in Las Vegas, Farrah looks pretty enough to keep cameras snapping but I don’t think she’s really anything special anymore. Maybe if she’d been honest about the sex tape, I’d respect her a little more but she lied and that made me lose whatever respect I had for her.

I have never really been Eddie Murphy’s biggest fan but he’s done some things I can support. One of those things is playing his role in bringing Bria Murphy into the world. This lady is just flat out stunning. I don’t typically think that being the child of a celebrity should be enough to make a person a celebrity but I don’t think people pay attention to Bria just because she’s Eddie Murphy’s daughter. She has acted. She’s modeled. She’s done things to try to build her own career. I respect that. In these photos, snapped in Hawaii, Bria is looking incredible. I love the bikini she’s wearing. I love the fact that she doesn’t really seem to try to vamp for the paparazzi snapping her photo. She just looks like she’s trying to enjoy her day at the beach. I love this girl. I hope she’s able to step out of her father’s shadow and really have her own career. I think she’s talented enough to make that happen.
