The real tragedy of Repo! A Genetic Opera was that Paris Hilton was in it. I have a real love hate thing going on with Paris but, while she did a great job in Repo, I couldn’t help being a little perturbed by the fact that Paris stole the spotlight from young Alexa Vega. As Shilo Wallace, Alexa burst out of the Spy Kids shadow and really showed the world that she was all grown up. At least she would have if Paris hadn’t stolen the show. Regardless, since then, I have been in love with this girl. She’s beautiful, talented and seems to have a good head on her shoulders. It’s easy to get caught up in the fame game and lose a part of yourself, but Alexa seems to have both feet planted firmly on the ground. Always nice to see in young Hollywood. I think she has a great career ahead of her, regardless of what path she chooses to take.

Before the Hollaback Girl made her Sweet Escape to solo stardom, Gwen Stefani was the flat stomached singer for No Doubt; the pop/ska outfit from Orange County, California that took the world by storm. I have loved this woman, her unique style and her gutsy attitude from the moment I heard Spiderwebs. Here with wax Gwen at Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas, I can’t help but notice Gwen has barely changed in the at least ten years, likely more, I’ve been a fan. She still has fun fun, flirty style that no other celebrity can copy and a fresh, youthful face. She seems genuinely amused and pleased with her wax figure and who can blame her. It looks just like her! Love Madame Tussauds and love Gwen!

Let’s just say that we’re almost expecting Katy Perry to keep bringing back the retro, and she seriously makes every attempt to recreate the retro. So, if you’re watching Katy Perry and her Vegas video it’s likely that you could be trying hard to remember something like this that you’ve seen years earlier. Well, that’s not true because even her most recent videos seem to recreate on the past. Everything always seems to be styled on yesteryears and that’s why you could be left scratching your head wondering what’s happening. Wow, who knew this “General Hospital” and “Las Vegas” hottie is actually forty years old?! Vanessa Marcil a.k.a. Vanessa Ortiz is looking like one hot momma in these photos! The former wife of Corey Feldman shows that getting old should never be a reason for you to stop loving yourself. Vanessa Marcil is the same girl in the Nicolas Cage and Sean Connery flick “The Rock,” by the way. She has a son with former Beverly Hills 90210 actor Brian Austin Green.

I dunno, guys. I’m really kinda over Kim Kardashian. I always disliked her as a person but still thought she was stunning. Now … well, she’s still stunning. I just don’t care about her stunning-ness anymore. There are many, many far more attractive women in the entertainment industry I’d rather be looking at. Does she look hot in these shots from her birthday party in Las Vegas? Yeah, I suppose. Do I care? Nope. I think Kim could take a stroll down Rodeo in her birthday suit and I’d still find the pics boring. I can’t be the only person that feels that way.

I really like Ciara but here’s the honest truth – I much prefer casual, candid shots of her over red carpet shots and performance pics like these ones that were snapped as she performs at the Ditch Pool & Dayclub in Las Vegas. These shots are nice and all but Ciara’s looking a little too polished for my taste. Ciara is a natural beauty. She doesn’t need all that time in the hair and makeup chair to look gorgeous. I think that should be celebrated. Of course, she looks fantastic here as well. They’re just not the best pictures I’ve ever seen of this gorgeous and talented woman.
