There are some people that say Halloween is nothing but an excuse for women to dress like sluts and not get called sluts for it. From sexy angels, sexy devils, sexy nurses and sexy pretty much everything else, Halloween is far more sex than scare these days. It seems no different for Alyson Michalka at the Helloween bash she attended but it works for her. There any many people I would not want to see in the getup she’s wearing here. Thankfully, it was Aly that wore it and the world is a sexier place for it. Judging from the women in there pictures, Aly wasn’t the only one that bought into the sexy rule. I dressed in plastic wrap and duct tape and went as one of Dexter Morgan’s victims – complete with fake blood cheek slash. Just putting that out there.

Aly Milchalka used to be so wholesome and innocent! What happened? It feels like just a few weeks ago that I was writing about how she was sexy but still had that girl-next-door, sweet as sugar sort of vibe about her. Here in Los Angeles for the premiere of ‘Super 8′ at the Regency Village Theatre, we’re seeing a whole new Aly. Perhaps this has been happening for a while and I just somehow missed it. Regardless, she looks good. She looks healthy and isn’t flashing too much skin aside from a lot of leg. I think this new, more mature look works for her. I just hope she doesn’t take it too far.

The sad thing about sisters in Hollywood is that inevitably, people are going to compare their looks. Just ask the Kardashian sisters. Aly & AJ Michalka are no exception. When they shot to fame as simply Aly and AJ, everyone talked about how gorgeous they both were. As time passed though, those comparisons began. I’m not going to play that game. I honestly don’t think it’s fair. Here at Famous Chick’s BBQ in Los Angeles, Alyson and AJ seem to be like most other sisters, sitting together to enjoy a nice day while catching up on some reading. I like these two, even if I never really got into their music. They seem like pretty laid back people and I like that.

I remember Alyson Michalka from way back when “Aly & AJ” was still called “Aly & AJ”. I’ve always liked her. There’s something very sweet and wholesome about her, even when she’s all stretched out on the hood of a car wearing a black bikini. She’s the girl next door type and I’ve always had a soft spot for that. While she’s starting to have a sexier image, she isn’t going overboard with it like many of her contemporaries, and I really like that about her. I also love that she’s taking on better acting roles, for example, her role as Abernathy in “Easy A”. I hope she continues to make smart choices. I’d like to see this girl really break out and become a huge star.
