Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were rumored to be tying the knot next week. They sent family and friends invitations for a big day on May 16. The couple has refused tell more details.The location was top secret and would only be revealed on the day itself. The venue would be an hour’s drive from LA. Ashlee was rumored to be expecting and this marriage was a quickie ahead of the baby’s birth in summer. Check out the photos.

Whether or not she’s pregnant, only one thing’s for sure as of now — the newly engaged Ashlee Simpson is looking very good these days! Away from the punk rocker slash pop singer wannabe that she was a few years ago, Jessica Simpson’s younger sister is one glam chick. Here are photos of her taken recently when she was as a special guest on Dancing with the stars (backstage). Do you think fiance Pete Wentz is happy to see her looking like this? Ashlee Simpson went to the Nickelodeon’s 2008 Kids’ Choice Awards. Ashlee looked beautiful with her shiny, straight hair and tight tube dress. Some of the pictures showed her tube top dipping way down for the full cleavage look. I like her bright orange shoes.
Some of the more sporting celebrities allowed themselves to be doused with green slime. It was totally messy. I didn’t watch that on TV but saw the photos.

Ashlee Simpson was at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party. Her escort was her constant companion, Pete Wentz. She looked good in her simple shift. Her dress looked like a Chinese cheongsam. I think that was un-intentional. Ashlee has been keeping abreast with the season’s latest trends; she was using the clutch bag. Pete looked handsome. He reminded me of the other Pete – Pete Doherty. Both Petes have similar baby face looks. Both liked to wear hats too.

Singer and actress Ashlee Simpson is acting as if she’s already married to Fall Out Boy lead Pete Wentz. She’s with him every single day - I haven’t seen a recent picture of her alone. Does that mean that she’s completely, all out bonkers in love with this guy? I hope he feels the same way for her! Here’s Ashlee wearing a green bikini that’s really not “filled up” in the right places, if you know what I mean. Maybe she should’ve worn something that’s a size lesser?
