I freaking love “Californication” although I freely admit this is not a show intended for all audiences. All of the sex really turns a lot of people away from the show but I don’t think the show would be the same without it. With that said, I want to talk about Natascha McElhone for a moment which works as that’s who these photos are show and my job is to write about the photos. I have never found Natascha attractive on the show. I know her character, Karen, is supposed to be the love of Hank Moody’s life (Hank, by the way, who is played brilliantly by one of my biggest celebrity crushes, David Duchovny), but I just never saw why Hank was so head over heels for her. I totally get it now. These photos are incredible. Those eyes of hers are stunning. I’m not sure how I missed it before. I think I might be seeing Karen a whole new way from here on out.
I never watched Californication, but I’m thinking the name’s a giveaway in regards to its sexual content. Why people would then watch it if they’re that sensitive is beyond me.
Wanda, I’m sure you know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Hank knew what he saw in her and that’s what matters.
I can see how some might be a bit caught off guard by some of the content in Californication because it can go a bit to the extreme (even occasionally makes me red in the face) but agree that they should probably have a bit of an idea what they’re in for from the name alone. I really enjoy the show because of the characters and stories. And yes, I agree. Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder. I think that’s the real strength of the show. Hank adores Karen. I guess I just didn’t personally see it. Perhaps I’m finally seeing what Hank’s eyes behold. Or maybe I’m just jealous of anyone lucky enough to do love scenes with David.
Damn she’s still got it! Loved her in all her movies, especially Ronin and Solaris.
I have never seen either of those movies although they’ve both been on my “must watch” list for ages now. I’ll have to check them out.
NonW00t, when I first saw the pictures, my first thought was “damn, does this woman age?” Nothing wrong with aging, but what I’m surprised by is she looks the same from when I saw her in Solaris and that was what, 10 years ago at least?
Yep, if a film says Buffy the Vampire Slayer, then don’t be surprised or complain when you see a vampire in it!

Wanda, I haven’t watched Ronin, but have watched Solaris. I found it a bit boring to be honest, but I wouldn’t mind watching it again just to make sure. I mean it was shot 10 years ago or so, so maybe I’ll appreciate it more now than I did back then.
