I don’t normally like to point out cellulite on celebrities (or even the friends of celebrities) but it’s a little hard to ignore this time around. I mean – that is a lot of cellulite on Audrina Patridge’s beach buddy. It’s not as defined in later pictures, so maybe it was just a bad angle, but holy cottage cheese in that first one. Anyway, on to the ‘star’. I haven’t really been hearing much about Audrina since she was voted off “Dancing with the Stars” but she looks pretty good in these pictures. She has a sort of wholesome look. Maybe wholesome isn’t the right word. Maybe just less slutty than many of her contemporaries. Either way, nice to see her out and about enjoying the last of her fifteen minutes of fame.

I’ve always been a big Jenny McCarthy fan. She seems like the type of woman that is happier drinking beer with the boys than getting her hair and nails done at a salon, and that really appeals to me. Sure she has a bad track record with romance but there aren’t many women in Hollywood who don’t. She’s in charge of her own sexuality and she’s open about who she is. She can be crass and rude, but she is unapologetically Jenny and I love that about her. It doesn’t hurt that she’s also very pretty and has a killer body she isn’t afraid to show off. I don’t always agree with everything she says, but I’d never argue with pictures of her in a bikini.

Just the other day I was talking about aging gracefully in Hollywood and how few celebs do it these days. As with most things, I’m fairly back and forth on the subject. I like to see women who aren’t afraid to get old. At the same time, when I look at these pictures of Elizabeth Hurley in London, I can’t help but feel sad. I remember a time when Liz was my biggest girl-crush. She was beautiful and has that sexy accent. I’m not saying she isn’t beautiful anymore. She definitely is still attractive and her body is ridiculous, but she’s definitely showing her age. I say kudos to Liz for being proud of who she is, even if I’m not quite as attracted to her quite as much as I used to be.

Carmen Electra has kind of a reputation, doesn’t she? I mean, what’s she most known for? Being sexy and not afraid to take her clothes off for the cameras. She’s the brunette Pam Anderson with the (admitted) Hep. I like Carmen though. She’s in your face sexual and not afraid of her own body. She’s confident and that’s pretty sexy in and off itself. I actually own a few of Carmen’s dance/fitness DVDs and despite working out as instructed, I look nothing like her. That’s a little disheartening. It might’ve been more effective if I tried them each more than once, but I just don’t have the time for that. I’m far too lazy for that kind of thing.

Everyone wants to make a splash when they hit the red carpet and Eliza Doolittle definitely did that at The Brits 2011. She looked incredible, wearing a plain dress that showed off her sexy body – especially those gorgeous legs – but didn’t scream ‘look at me’. Well, not until she turned around, anyway. Her shoes… well, let’s talk about the tail first. I just don’t get what that’s all about. I can understand her desire to draw attention to that lovely caboose of hers, but to cover it up entirely? No. I don’t like that at all. I look at this and wonder if perhaps there was a hole in her dress she was trying to cover or a stain she needed to conceal at the last minute. At the same time, I like the splash of color added to the basic white dress, but she could have relied on her painfully ugly shoes for that. I’m not feeling this whole look, but I still love adorable Eliza.

Amanda Seyfried is one of my favorite young actresses in Hollywood right now. I’ve been a big fan of her work since Mean Girls and love that she’s finally starting to get some of the attention she deserves. While it’s true that I didn’t really care for ‘Dear John’ or ‘Letters to Juliet’, they got her name out there and got people looking at her as a realistic leading lady. I think she has real talent which she gets to really put on display in Big Love. While I’m sad to see the show ending, I’m excited to see where Amanda’s career takes her. I am disheartened, however, to see her getting mixed up with notorious womanizer Ryan Phillippe. Hopefully things work out better for her with him than they did for Reese Witherspoon and Abbie Cornish.
