Miley Cyrus does not need my stamp of approval. She has legions of fans who love her and is engaged to a gorgeous guy who also has legions of fans. Things are going pretty well for Miss. Cyrus. With that said, she may not need my stamp of approval but for this look, she’s going to get it anyway. In the last few days, I’ve posted about Lady Gaga and Aubrey O’Day rocking a look similar to this one but there is one thing Miley’s look has that their didn’t – pants. Bold pantyhose/tights are trendy right now and Miley cashes in on that trend but has the common sense to slide a pair of black cutoffs on over the tights and to me, that makes all the difference. The look is still a little bit trashy (it’s hard to make fishnets look anything but), yet it doesn’t cross the line into too trashy. Miley has really been maturing as of late. Perhaps it’s the impending nuptials or perhaps it’s just a natural part of getting older, but I’m really starting to like this girl – at least in terms of her fashion choices.

I have a pair of tights/stretch pants (whatever they’re called) just like the ones Imogen Thomas is wearing in these pictures snapped in London and I have to admit I’d never be brave enough to pair them with a belly baring top. Imogen is definitely far more comfortable in her own skin than I am and I definitely respect that. I also happen to think she looks gorgeous, as usual. I don’t know that I love the decision to pair the tights with the belly shirt as much as I admire the guts it took to do it but I’m sure Imogen is happy with the look so I suppose that’s all that matters.

Now, I’m sure you all know by now that I have a serious soft spot for Kelly Brook. When I saw her name on my list of assignments for today, I was excited. I opened the post and looked at the pictures. I had one thought. Why is she not wearing pants? I have had nightmares like this. You know the one. You’re out and about somewhere and suddenly realize *gasp!* you’ve forgotten your pants! I get that this is sort of the style now but with the rest of her outfit, the stretch pants (tights? leggings?) just don’t look right. Heavy sweater? Check. Winter jacket? Check. Winter boots (very cute ones, I might add)? Check. Pants? Oops! The poor girl looks like she’s freezing! Regardless, I have to say I do like the way she looks in these pictures (taken in London) despite the questionable bottoms. She is a lovely woman and hey – who doesn’t make questionable fashion choices from time to time.

Serena Williams and Kelly Rowland in tight black pants. Those are two nice asses. Every time I see Serena though, I can’t help thinking about her episode of Punk’d. I loved how she handled the prank. She came out of the whole thing looking really good – like a good sport and a good person. I like that in a celebrity. If you haven’t seen the episode, I would recommend checking it out. It’s good for a laugh. I think it was sometime in the second season. Anyway, I love that Serena and Kelly are such good friends. I always thought Kelly got a raw deal in the whole Destiny’s Child situation. She’s talented but, like Michelle Williams, was completely over shadowed by Beyonce. Regardless, both ladies look hot and look like they’re having a pretty good time. Always nice to see attractive women enjoying themselves.

Most women don’t have the balls to attempt the schoolgirl look (short pleated plaid skirt with tights and an up-do) at Geri Halliwell’s age but of course Geri is not most women. In my mind, she will always be Ginger Spice. She has earned that name and she will forever own it in the hearts and minds of Spice fans everywhere. Really, this is just more of Geri being Geri and I love that about her. She just is what she is and she doesn’t care what anyone thinks. Someone once told me to dress my age but I was dressed in a Hello Kitty pajama set (pants and tank top – totally appropriate for a quick trip to the store) and was trying to buy smokes. Makes sense, I guess. That, my friends, is why I write about celebrities and am not in front of the camera. The press would catch me doing all sorts of weird stuff. Well, that and the fact that I have no discernible talent to speak of. Ha! Like that matters these days!

Anna Kournikova may never be the best tennis player in the world, but she sure is one of the best looking. Taking in the Miami Dolphins vs N.Y. Jets game in Miami with her longtime boyfriend Enrique Iglesais, Anna looks as stunning as she always does. The tight tank top hugs her curves perfectly. Her white pants look sexy yet comfortable. She’s just a girl out to take in a game with her boyfriend; seemingly unaware that all eyes are on her. I remember when Enrique and Anna first began dating way back in 2001. No one thought they would make it, but here they are. They’re one of the few couples that have proved the naysayers wrong time and time again – at least for now.
