Here’s a little something you probably don’t need to know about me. I’ve been spoiled. All through May and June, we’ve had unseasonably cool weather. It’s been a little rainy and gray for my taste but I have been careful not to complain about the temperature because I knew it was far cooler than it should have been at this time of the year. All of that came to a screeching halt yesterday afternoon when the warm weather hit. Good heavens – it’s so freaking hot. I’m typing this in my bra and panties and it’s still too freaking hot. Why write all of this? Because this heat is making me cranky and clearly crazy. How can I be so sure of this? Easy. I looked at these photos of Carmen Electra and I didn’t fall in love with them immediately. That almost never happens with Carmen photos. She’s one of my all time favorite female celebrities and one of my biggest girl crushes. How could I not be in love with these photos? I’m heat crazy, that’s why. It’s the only logical explanation I can come up with.

I can’t say Rihanna always brings her A game because I have seen a few photos of her here and there I haven’t been a fan of but for the most part, I’d say she does. This is a lady that knows how to look good but also knows how to get people talking. I like that about her. Here we see Rihanna in Paris holding hands with a lovely female friend. There have been rumors about Rihanna possibly being bisexual for quite some time now but I won’t take this as a confirmation of those rumors. This could be nothing more than two friends hanging out and getting people talking. I’m alright with that; especially since Rihanna looks so incredibly hot here. This just another example of Rihanna looking gorgeous.

Reese Witherspoon is a great mystery to me. I get why people like her because I sometimes like her. I also get why people don’t like her because I sometimes don’t like her. In all honesty, I have no idea from one photoset to the next how I’m going to feel about her. This time, I like her. I think she looks cute as she goes shopping in Brentwood. I’ve never considered Reese “hot” but she does have an appealing adorableness about her sometimes. I like the outfit she’s opted for her. I think it compliments her well and shows off her lovely legs. I don’t typically like big sunglasses but I think these ones look nice on her. All in all, the pictures are great. Just don’t expect my favorable opinion of Reese to last. It could be gone with the next set of photos.

I really like Lana Del Ray. I know a lot of people gave her a hard time over her appearance on Saturday Night Live a while back but I was of the opinion that people were more than a little too harsh on her. She was a newcomer at the time, more or less, and she was likely pretty nervous. All told, I didn’t even think the performance was that bad. I’m sure most of that is a long forgotten memory for most by now though. I don’t think Lana is though. This girl is so beautiful and so talented, I could really see her having a successful career in the long run. In this photo set, we see Lana showing off her darker looks while shooting her new music video in LA. I can’t wait to see the finished product. Judging by these shots, it’s going to be fantastic.

I simply adore these photos of gorgeous model/beauty queen/tv host, Jennifer Hawkins. She just has such a fresh faced, girl next door vibe going on and I’m a sucker for a woman like that. While she is certainly capable of steaming it up in sexy photoshoots, I really like red carpet shots like these ones when it comes to Jennifer. I feel shots like these ones really let her true beauty shine through. While she’s obviously had her hair and makeup done, she isn’t as worked on as she might be in a photoshoot. I think she has a natural, comfortable feel in front of red carpet cameras as well and for some models, that can be tricky to pull off. Some models wind up looking like they’re trying to hard but I’ve never found that with Jennifer. She’s a lovely girl.

I have a lot of girl crushes. I have a lot of big time girl crushes. There’s Carmen Electra – one of my first girl crushes – and Sandra Bullock. There’s Katy Perry and Rihanna. There’s Fairuza Balk. There’s Kate Beckinsale. I have a lot of girl crushes for a straight chick. I get that. None of those crushes, however, outshines my girl crush on Rose McGowan. I’d consider switching teams for a lot of the women I just mentioned but there would be no consideration involved with Rose. I adore her. She’s stunning. I don’t care how much work she’s had done. I don’t even really care what she looks like. My crush on Rose is all about her attitude. She’s just a confident, tough, independent, outspoken woman and I am so incredibly attracted to all of those qualities. These photos, shot in Paris, show the glammed up Rose I so love seeing. I love this woman. Marry me, Rose! That’s perfectly legal here. Of course, I’m already married but I’m sure something could be arranged.
