Eh, I dunno. Rosie Huntington is gorgeous for sure but there’s something about these photos I’m not in love with. She looks hot and she has an incredible body but I guess I’ve just come to expect something a little more from Rosie. I can’t really complain too much though. She’s a gorgeous woman and she’s in her underwear. It’s hard to be completely disappointed with pictures when those two factors are in place. I remember all the fuss back when it was first announced Rosie would be taking over for Megan Fox in ‘Transformers’ but I didn’t see the big deal. I’ve always prefer Rosie over Megan by a mile. I’m not saying these pictures aren’t fantastic because they really are. They’re just not the showstoppers I’m used to seeing with Rosie.

A long while back, I wrote a post about a woman who rose to fame as one of The Sun’s Page 3 girls. In that post, I admitted I didn’t know much about Page 3 girls and a few of the comments took me to task on that. I have since educated myself on the subject and have decided I quite like the whole idea. While doing my research I decided on Page 3 girl really stood out for me and that girl is Rhian Sugden. She’s gorgeous, of course, but she’s also using her position in the spotlight to help disabled children. I love that. In this set of photos, we see Rhian leaving the Big Brother House following her eviction. I have to admit I haven’t watched Big Brother or any of it’s variations since the first or second season, but I regret skipping this season. I love Rhian. It would’ve been nice to see how she did in the Big Brother house.

Here we see the infamous “Teen Bride” leaving the home she shares with her husband/father figure, Doug Hutchison, to go celebrate her 18th birthday. For a while, I was really trying to go the “I don’t know, maybe they’re really in love” route but as it becomes more and more clear that this woman is a misguided child desperate to cling to whatever fame she can get, I find myself feeling more and more sad for her. One day the fame will be gone and that’s going to be a very depressing time for her. Someone needs to step up and tell her life is not all about cameras and headlines. They need to help her understand that selling her sole to have her picture in magazines is not worth it. What has be so worried? First, the fact that she’s signed on to appear on some reality show about celebrity couple’s therapy. Who is honestly surprised there are troubles in this union? More than that though, I’m worried that Courtney has openly admitted she’s considering the various porn offers she’s gotten now that she’s legal. Once she goes down that road, there’s no turning back.

Candice Swanepoel is stunning. She’s absolutely gorgeous and I get a little excited every time I see her name on my assignment list because writing about her is always a joy. This set of photos (shot in BRazil for Elle) is perhaps my favorite Candice Swanepoel set yet though. She doesn’t necessarily look any more or any less attractive than she normally does. What I like about these photos is the mix of professional shots and candid shots. We get to see the photo shoot from another perspective and I enjoy that. It sets these shots of Candice apart from many of the other shots we’ve seen. It’s a nice behind the scenes look at the gorgeous model between poses and I hope this is only the first of many sets like this I get to write about.

Bar Refaeli may have gotten the bulk of her fame when she dated Leonardo DiCaprio but I don’t think that should take away from the work she’s done as a model. This is a woman that is successful in her own right and I think it’s important to point that out. Bar never seemed to be out to capitalize on her relationship with him. She attended events with him but she seemed to back off and let him have his moment – something I always admired about her. Many of the other women who become well known because of who they’re dating take every opportunity they’re given to show off their relationship and Bar never gave me that impression. Since breaking up with Leo, Bar has remained successful and I think that will continue. In these photos from Mykonos, Greece, it’s pretty obvious Leo is little more than a distant memory in her mind. She has definitely moved on and good for her. I think Bar is a classy, beautiful woman and I see nothing but success in her future.

I hate celebrities that are famous just for being famous. I hate celebrities that take every opportunity to sell themselves to the public, even at the cost of their own dignity. Super revealing outfits in completely inappropriate locations, playing up their accomplishments for the cameras, becoming a fixture on the party scene just to get their names in the headlines – these things all bug me and yet I still like Bai Ling. First, there is one distinction between Bai Ling and many of the “celebrities” she’s often lumped in with. Bai has actually had a few fairly noteworthy roles in movies and on television. I loved her on “Lost” and I thought she was great in her brief appearance in “Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow”. Granted, most people know her for being the crazy outfit wearing, chicken dancing girl often photographed outside Hollywood’s most famous hot spots but at least she’s at least tried breaking into the business in a legitimate way. Here in Hawaii, Bai is pouting and posing her way through these photos and I think she looks fantastic. She might be an attention whore but I love her anyway.
