I know a lot of people have issues with Miley Cyrus. I was one of those people at one point in time but I’m really liking what Mily has been doing as of late. She seems to be taking more control over her life and that’s so nice to see. I like the hair but more than that, I like the attitude. At the same time, there is a part of me that is concerned for her. There have been so many rumors about possible problems in her personal life. I’d hate to see her take a bad road. She has a lot of potential. While I’m not a big fan of her music and her acting has never really impressed me either, I think with time to grow and develop, she could really become something special. In these photos, snapped at Pharrell Williams birthday party in Miami, Miley looks adorable, of course, but she also looks like she’s making a lot of smart decisions in the music industry. Perhaps she’s taking her career in a new direction. I’d really like to see that.

Yeah, I’ve gotta admit it – I’m a big fan of this new Miley Cyrus we’re seeing so much of. She’s distanced herself so much from the girl she used to be. She’s showing off a new, more mature style and I can really get behind that. I’m not convinced it’s genuine, but I think it’s a lot more genuine than what we used to see. I’ve been hearing a lot of rumors about Miley and her fiance, Liam Hemsworth, but I’m not going to buy into them until it’s confirmed by either Miley or Liam. Did he cheat on her? Did she cheat on him? Have they broken up? Did they break up a long time ago? I have no idea and I honestly couldn’t care less either way. I think they make a cute couple but they’re both very young. They’ll bounce back.

I know I’m supposed to be writing about Miley Cyrus here but I have to take a moment to talk about Kelly Osbourne. My good Lord – that lady is looking good these days. She’s clearly been working on her body and it’s paying off. I hope she’s doing it in a healthy way though. She’s had her problems in the past. As good as she looks, it’s not worth putting her health at risk. With that said, she doesn’t look unhealthy in these photos with Miley from the Elton John Academy Awards Viewing Party. To me, both girls look beautiful and they look like they have a good time together. This is a celebrity BFF pairing I can really get behind.

I know a lot of people don’t like Miley Cyrus’ new hair or her new style in general but I’ve really been on board … until now. While I get that she’s trying to show and older, more mature side of herself and exposing a little skin is one of the ways she’s doing that, I can’t get past that shirt. I just can’t. It doesn’t look like it was intended to be that short in the waist or in the sleeves and that is somewhat distracting to me. On the other hand, I do like how fit Miley is looking these days. I’ve never been on the ‘Miley needs to lose weight’ train because I don’t think she’s ever been chubby or fat or whatever you’d like to cal it but she does look a bit more confident now. Is that part of the reason she’s chosen to expose so much skin on a regular basis? Perhaps. I can’t say I blame her. She’s looking good – weird shirt, aside.

I know these pictures are a bit outdated now but who cares? Miley Cyrus is on stage with a stripper and she seems to be enjoying the show. I dunno, guys. I like the stripper Miley brought in to perform with her at Borgore’s Christmas Creampies Concert in Hollywood but I’m not sure how festive it is and I’m not sure I’m loving Miley’s look. Maybe the stripper could’ve worn a Santa hat or something or even worn a red and green thong. And Miley … I’m just not sure. I still like the shorter hair but I’m not sure about the outfit. It doesn’t seem exactly flattering. Ah well, they can’t all be winners.

As some of you may know, I don’t pick the photos I post here. They’re assigned to me and often with little information. Sometimes though, I’m able to extrapolate the basics based on my unfortunately vast knowledge of all things pop culture. This is one of those times. I wasn’t given any information with these ones aside from the name of the person in them – Miley Cyrus – but based on a few things, I can guess they’re probably pretty old. First, she doesn’t look as stick thin as she looks these days. That’s not a bad thing. I think Miley looks better with a little bit of meat on her bones. Second, her hair is long and dark in these photos. That’s really the biggest indication these photos are a bit dated as Miley recently dyed her hair blond and chopped most of it off. I don’t think it matters much either way. Miley looks great here. I love the bikini, I love her hair and I love her curvier body. With all that said, I like how Miley looks now as well. I don’t think I really realized how many different looks Miley could pull off until I saw these photos so, dated or not, these photos have that going for them.
