Elizabeth Grant began performing under the stage name Lana Del Rey because her managers and assorted business people told her the name fit her classic, Old Hollywood style. Normally I would’ve objected to something like that but with Lana, I really think it was a good call. I really like Lana. It’s great to hear her song “Video Games” popping up in various shows like ‘The Ringer’ and ‘Gossip Girl’, increasing her fan base each time. I hope Lana is starting to get the recognition she deserves. She’s a talented girl. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that she’s also gorgeous. I look forward to hearing and seeing more of her.

There are very, very few women who make it big on reality shows that I actually respect. I think fame is something people should earn by having some sort of discernible talent or by being unusually good at something people want to see you do. I just don’t think being hot and bitchy fits into either of those categories. For all of those reasons and more, I’ve never been a big fan of Kristin Cavallari. I did, however, start to warm to her during her brief stint on “Dancing with the Stars”. She seemed to really work hard to learn her steps and that impressed me. I may have even learned to like her had she stuck around longer. Here outside O&A in West Hollywood, Kristin looks pretty cute. I absolutely love her legs. I’m not really a fan yet, but I could see it happening one day… maybe.

You know, I really should’ve known. I saw pictures of Lady Gaga on the red carpet at the MTV European Music Awards in Belfast and thought she looked surprisingly normal. Her dress wasn’t really all that outrageous and she actually looked pretty hot. Then I opened these pictures to begin writing my post, saw Gaga’s caboose and some of the crazy hats she was wearing and breathed a sigh of relief. Clearly Gaga is still being Gaga. I love this woman. She knows how to push the envelope and while I think she goes too far sometimes (much of the time), I love the fact that she’s got the guts to go further than many other performers. Gaga excites me even if I’d still like to see her really shock us all and be completely normal just once.

I’m sad to admit this, but I have no idea who Amanda Harrington is. The information accompanying these pictures says they were taken on the set of Desperate Housewives in Liverpool, England. I had found that lovely Amanda is from Liverpool but I’m not sure about the Desperate Housewives part. Perhaps there’s a different “Desperate Housewives” I’m not familiar with or perhaps the ladies of Wysteria Lane have traveled to England. I have no idea. I haven’t watched the show since the end of the first season. All the same, here’s Amanda Harrington looking stunning in workout gear. According to Chickipedia, Amanda is a model and television personality. I want to know more about her. She’s quite lovely.

There are some people that say Halloween is nothing but an excuse for women to dress like sluts and not get called sluts for it. From sexy angels, sexy devils, sexy nurses and sexy pretty much everything else, Halloween is far more sex than scare these days. It seems no different for Alyson Michalka at the Helloween bash she attended but it works for her. There any many people I would not want to see in the getup she’s wearing here. Thankfully, it was Aly that wore it and the world is a sexier place for it. Judging from the women in there pictures, Aly wasn’t the only one that bought into the sexy rule. I dressed in plastic wrap and duct tape and went as one of Dexter Morgan’s victims – complete with fake blood cheek slash. Just putting that out there.

I’m sure one of you lovely readers will correct me if I’m wrong on this one, but it seems to me this may be the first set of Selena Gomez upskirt shots. If I’m right, I’m very surprised it’s taken this long. I’m not saying the girl is trampy because she honestly doesn’t seem to be. It’s more a comment on the paparazzi. They seem to do whatever it takes to get a good upskirt which, in this case, wasn’t too hard as Selena’s in a short dress and the paps appear to be at the bottom of the stairs. When I first started writing for this site I was pretty hard on the upskirt shot girls but it’s becoming more clear all the time that it’s not always an on purpose thing. Those cameramen can be nasty. Regardless, upskirt shot or not, Selena looks great in these pictures.
