Catherine McNeil first gained the attention of the public at only fourteen when she won the “Girlfriend” model search. Since that time, she’s been working steadily as a model, really reaching the big time around 2007 when she landed work with some of the biggest names in fashion including D&G, Gaultier, Donna Karen and Dior. She’s appeared on the cover of both the French and Australian branches of “Vogue” magazine as well as “V” and “Numero”. She’s walked the runway for the likes of Dior, Valentino, Louis Vuitton and Yves St. Laurent. Not a bad resume at all. In these bikini shots taken in Bondi, Australia, Catherine shows the world why she’s often listed as one of the most beautiful models in the world. She doesn’t look like every other model on the runway. There’s something unique about her and that’s perhaps what I like about her the most. There’s just something about this girl. I can’t wait to see where her career takes her from here.
Apart from her beauty, perhaps part of what also makes her stand out is her tattoos. I hardly see female models of her caliber with tattoos. And she seems to have quite a few of them too – the side of her stomach, her wrist, arm, the side of her hand.
I really like seeing models with tattoos. I have twelve and I love each one of them. They don’t look as nice to hers and some people might think they’re ugly but I love them all the same. Hers are all where they can be hidden too, aside from the one on her hand, which I think is important when getting tattoos. While I have a lot, most of the people I worked with during my stint at a call center, had no idea I had any at all thanks to the ‘business casual’ dress code.
I love tattoos! But I’m too much of a wuss to get any myself! I hate needles/injections and isn’t that what the tattoo instrument is? — little groups of needles inking into your skin? If I ever get over my fear of needles, I’ll be getting a tattoo every couple of months, I tell ya!
I think it’s cool you have so many tattoos :-)
