She received lots of attention when she tried to live up to her song, “I Kissed A Girl.” Katy did kiss a girl at her concert but nothing more came out of that. Instead, Perry has been developing her romance with her boyfriend, Travis McCoy. McCoy said that he would be jealous and object to Perry making out with a female. He revealed that he enjoyed cuddling and goofing around with Perry.
Rachel Weisz wore a sexy, skin tight, wrap dress at the premiere of her new movie, “The Brothers Bloom.” In this film, Weisz played an innocent, rich hobby collector. The Bloom brothers were orphaned at an early age and they had to live on their wits. The brothers decided to make one last grand scam to con someone out of a huge fortune so that they can semi-retire comfortably. They meet Weisz’s character, Penelope. Penelope is totally convinced by them that she shares their life of crime as they travel to Europe to pull off a big fraud.
Former “Baywatch” babe and now “Disaster Movie” actress Carmen Electra still has that pretty sweet face, doesn’t she? We all know that she can be a beautiful blonde vixen but there are times when Carmen could still strike us as that simple American girl. The former wife of NBA superstar Dennis Rodman and of guitarist and now porn director-producer (who knew he’d turn out to be one, right?) Shannon Doherty attended the grand opening of Lavo Restaurant and Nightclub in Las Vegas, on Sept. 13. She looked beautiful and elegant in classic black. Doherty has completed shooting four episodes of “Beverly Hills 90210.” Her spokesman said that Doherty would be happy to consider re-joining the cast of 90210 again if she was offered the opportunity. Doherty was reunited on the set with Jennie Garth. They were rumored to be rivals but they put differences aside to make these special episodes of 90210.
“27 Dresses” actress Malin Akerman was looking mighty fine in a black shift dress in a recent W magazine-sponsored event. The actress, model, actress, film star, Swedish born LA resident, who also happened to have lived in Ontario, Canada for a while, wore something like a leathery shift dress and cool black heels. I just love her makeup! Plus her hairstyle is well set. I wonder what projects Malin has up next? She really was a presence in the “27 Dresses” flick after all. What do you think of Malin?
Serena Williams won her third US Open title. She has won so many titles and trophies that she has become an almost permanent fixture on the tennis circuit. Here, she posed for pictures with her US Open trophy, wearing a seductive dress. A publisher has been actively negotiating for a book deal and will pay her $1 million for her inspirational memoir. If she signs on, it would be her first solo book. Some publishes stayed away from negotiations because they thought Serena Williams was over exposed and her story would not be new.
