There was a joke being circulated about Brooke having to apply her own sun tan lotion. One of the previous times was done by her Dad, Hulk Hogan and the media never forgave him for it. Hulk was teased relentlessly about smearing the stuff on her. So Brooke and Daddy Dearest have learned their lessons. Brooke applied her own lotion, at least in these pictures.
Jessica Simpson was caught by the cameraman as she was leaving the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Brooklyn, on July 24. She was a beautiful Woman In Red. Jessica was a busy gal who found time to design and market an entire dress line in between all her other duties and romancing with Tony Romo. The Jessica Simpson Collection will debut in 2009. There will be clothes, handbags, shoes and jewelry. We can expect to see some country style in her J.S. Collection.
Mischa Barton hit the beach in Malibu on July 23 with a Bohemian style of swimsuit. It was a crochet knit, one-piece suit with plenty of holes to allow sunlight to penetrate. Do you remember ever having seen such a lacey, knitted swimsuit? It was quite unique and retro in fashion.
Mischa has been under speculation that she has been dropped by her agent. The gossip at Page Six hinted that Mischa had disappointed her agent with failures to land plum roles. The plucky lady has denied those rumors.
Heidi Range, from Sugababe, was on holiday, at a resort in Miami, with her sister Hayley. She stayed in shape by swimming and burning off those calories. Most of her time was spent working on her music so when she had the chance to take off, she would lounge at the pool and work passively on her tan. The Sugababes had completed touring the UK to promote their music and all that hard work deserved a break like this.
Anna Kournikova did a bikini fashion shoot for Maxim. She was beautiful. Maxim got her to wear a top despite her having a bikini top on. Anna has learnt the value of diplomacy even in the face of criticism. Justin Gimelstob, a tennis commentator, had criticized her but she has chosen not to return insults. She has ignored and avoided references to Gimelstob. There was much speculation on whether Anna had married Enrique Iglesias but her publicist refused to comment on that.
That reality TV star Brooke Hogan really is something else. She’s still an aspiring singer, an actress, the daughter of famous wrestler Hulk Hogan, lead star of her own reality show “Brooke Knows Best” and now, she’s a bikini-clad monkey too!
