Have I mentioned recently that I love Candice Swanepoel? Yes? Well, I’m going to say it again anyway. I love Candice Swanepoel. She’s just an incredible looking woman. I know some feel she’s a bit on the skinny side but I am a firm believer that beauty comes in all sizes – small, medium, large, extra large … as long as the woman doesn’t look unhealthy, of course. I know there are some female celebrities who look far too thin but I don’t believe Candice is one of them. Candice not only looks hot in these photos from Miami but also looks like she’s having a fantastic time. I always appreciate that. I don’t like women that don’t seem like they know how to have a good time and Candice definitely isn’t one of those women.

Monica Bellucci is one of those timeless beauties that just leaves me breathless each and every time I see her. There’s something so captivating about her. I think it’s her delicate, feminine features or possibly those gorgeous eyes. I have always been a big fan and must confess, I’ve never seen these photos before. I’m not sure they’re brand new but they are lovely so that’s all I’m really concerned about. Monica is one of those women who just has this classic, old Hollywood glamour about her and I think that really shows in this set. She looks stunning – absolutely beautiful.

This is the second set of photos of Heidi Klum we’ve posted from Cannes and while I was a big fan of the first set, I’m not sure I’m as in to this one. She looks great and all but I find those earrings incredibly distracting. I’m also not a big fan of the dress. I guess I’m just kind of up in the air about this look overall. I think the entire look would’ve worked much better with a slightly less loud pair of earrings. I guess I can’t complain too much. She’s still Heidi Klum which means she still looks fantastic. I just think she would’ve looked even better with some slightly altered fashion choices.

I know, I know. I might be one of the only people in the world that isn’t completely bananas over Blake Lively. I think she’s pretty and all but she isn’t one of my absolute favorites. Here at the Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the real star of the photos is Blake’s dress. It’s absolutely stunning and was the perfect choice for her. It’s dramatic and eye catching and it flatters her beautifully. I’m not sure she chose to pair it with the right hair, jewelry and makeup though. I’m sure it was a calculated decision though. By keeping everything else mostly minimal, the focus is on the dress, which is great, but maybe a little hair framing her face would’ve been more complimentary. And the earrings …. not sure about the earrings. The dress might’ve worked better with something a little more understated. Of course, all those things aside, she still looks incredible. I just think without a few different choices, she could’ve looked even better.

Barbara Palvin is most definitely one of my favorite up and coming models and shots like these from her Victoria’s Secret Photoshoots are a great example of why that is. She’s such a beautiful young woman with such an ease in front of the cameras. I love the way she can be flirty and cute in one photo then sensual and sexy in the next. While that might not seem like a big accomplishment for some, it really is. There are a lot of models that can’t pull those different personas off. I think Barbara has the potential to be very successful in this industry for years to come. I just hope she manages to avoid getting tangled up in any more scandals. Scandals may get one more attention but that’s short term. If Barbara wants a long career, the focus needs to be on her work and what she does professionally not what she does in her private life.

I know I’m supposed to be staring at Paris Hilton in these photos from Roberto Cavalli’s boat party in Cannes but I can’t stop looking at her boyfriend, whose name I’ve already forgotten. That is a pretty, pretty man. I’m not sure I love his super clean cut look. I like men that look a bit messier but he’s still a very attractive young man. He really hit the jackpot with Hilton too. Look at the way she’s looking at him. She seems pretty into him and I have to admit, that’s nice to see. Paris kind of has a reputation for going through men fairly quickly. I get that there’s an age difference at play here that seems to have people thinking this will never last but I don’t think age matters all that much. He seems a little more interested in the cameras than spending time with Paris but looks can be deceiving. He is a model after all. Why not take advantage of a little additional press exposure. I’m not going to be all jaded and cynical over these two. Maybe they’re the real deal. Fingers crossed … for both of them. After all, getting famous for being Paris Hilton’s boyfriend doesn’t necessarily mean great things for one’s career, especially if the relationship ends.
