Rumor has it Nigel Lithgow isn’t convinced Jennifer Lopez is really done with “American Idol”. He’s the executive producer so you’d think he’d know. He is hoping she’ll decide to return and share the judge’s panel with newly appointed judge, Mariah Carey. Hmmm … I’m not sure he’s thought that one through. I can’t see the purpose of having two pop-divas on the panel. I can’t even imagine how they’d get along. I suppose it doesn’t really matter because I’m pretty convinced Jennifer’s leaving even if Nigel isn’t. It’s a shame too. Just look at these performance pics of Jennifer Lopez in New Jersey. The woman really knows how to put on a show. She might not be the most talented singer but she commands the stage and I think that counts for a lot in pop music. Plus she’s hot. Super hot. I guess we’ll see how it all plays out in the next few weeks.

So “American Idol” producers have foolishly ignored my suggestion to bring Avril Lavigne on as a judge for the show’s next season. They chose Mariah Carey instead. I’m going to go ahead and call that a massive mistake. Mariah is a nutcase – a talented nutcase, but a nutcase none the less. Crew members have said she was a nightmare to work with during her stint as a guest mentor a few seasons back. The same crew members have said Jennifer Lopez was a delight. I’m not sure what they would say about Avril, but I guess we’ll never know. None of that matters though. What matters is the fact that Avril Lavigne is on vacation in Mexico which means we can expect at least another set – maybe more – of gorgeous Avril Lavigne bikini pictures similar to this one. I can’t complain about that. I think Avril is gorgeous. More than that, she’s unique. She does things her own way – her hair for example – and I think that’s just fantastic. I think she would’ve been a great judge but hey, can’t win ’em all, I suppose.

I just, not even two minutes ago, wrote a post about Kim Kardashian on a beach in Mexico. I stated that I’m not really her biggest fan but admitted I think she’s one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. Now I’m writing this post about Kim out shopping in Beverly Hills at Harmes Paris and I think it’s a great contrast to the other post. Why? Because I think these pictures show why I’m not really Kim K’s biggest fan. There is just something so ‘diva’ about her. Mariah Carey is a diva. Madonna is a diva. Aretha Franklin is a diva. Diana Ross is a diva. I could go on, but here’s the point I want to make. I’m okay with those women being diva’s because they’ve worked hard and earned it. Kim Kardashian has not. She turned her reality show celebrity (and the whole sex tape thing) into a career and I admire that, but she has not earned the diva title. I could be wrong. The pictures aren’t really all that bad. She looks hot as hell and that’s fine, but there’s just this attitude in them. Am I reading too much into it? More than likely yes. If I am, my sincerest apologies to Kim.

Dressed in an ultra skin tight pink number, the former girlfriend of Nick Cannon, who, as we all know is now Mr. Mariah Carey, Christina flaunted her bootylicious body and flashed her very famous charming smile.
