A few hours ago, I posted a set of photos featuring Adriana Lima at the Fashion Awards in New York and in that post, I mentioned how very many beautiful women seemed to have been in attendance. I opened this set of photos and glance at the info given to me with the photos. What do I see? Alessandra Ambrosio at the Fashion Awards in NYC. Was this some sort of super hot supermodel summit or something? Seriously though, one would expect something called the Fashion Awards to attract tons of hot models so it makes sense but it just seems to me that if I came up with a list of my 10 absolute favorite models, all 10 of them would’ve been in attendance at this event. How was I not there? Oh right – I’m nowhere near New York, have nothing to do with the fashion industry and have never done any modeling. Well, aside from some fetish modeling once upon a time but that’s a whole other story. Moving on.

So Sofia Vergara has now been immortalized in wax at Madame Tussaud’s which is awesome except all I can think about when I look at these photos from the unveiling is Sofia Vergara as triplets. Can you just imagine the hot? I’m sure they’d be close. Sofia seems like the kind of person that would be bffs with her triplet sisters. That makes me imagine them taking a beach vacation together. That in turn makes me imagine three Sofia Vergaras in teeny tiny bikinis. I just can’t even wrap my head around that kind of hot. Were such a thing to happen, I might actually explode. What a mess that’d be. My imagination has clearly run away with me on this one so just ignore me and enjoy the photos.

I know you all know how much I love Candice Swanepoel so I’m not even going to bother stating it again. When something has been stated so much, it should be accepted as fact. These photos from the Fashion Awards in NYC, however, really make me want to say it again. Why? Well just look at her! She’s so beautiful. I love the way she walks the red carpet. There is just so much confidence in the way she carries herself but at the same time, she doesn’t seem stuck up or full of herself. There is just something about the way this woman looks into a camera that makes me melt. Maybe she is stuck up. I have no idea. I don’t know her but I wouldn’t think so from the photos I’ve seen of her and trust me – I’ve seen a lot of photos of her. Another beautiful set of photos of Candice and yes, this makes me very, very happy.

Seriously, Anais Zanotti and Tahiti Cora? You look this hot when you work out? How is that even possible? In these photos, we see Anais and pal Tahiti doing their workout in Miami and the photographs are just so hot I can’t even stand it. Both of these women are so incredibly beautiful. It doesn’t look like these shots were taken as part of a planned photoshoot but I have to imagine it was no accident that they wore these itty bitty outfits in a public space to work out. These women know how to get attention and while I’d normally call that desperate and sleazy, I’m enjoying the photos too much to care. Is that hypocritical of me? Probably but hey, at least I’m honest about it.

Every now and then I’m assigned a set of photos in which the subject of the photos does not fit in with the setting of the photos at all. Typically, these women have chosen something far too revealing to go shopping at the supermarket or something along those lines. These photos are the complete opposite of that. Here, we see The Saturdays at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in London and they absolutely look like they belong there. Talk about glamour! These ladies are simply stunning. Each one of them is gorgeous in her own way. I love these ladies. While at least two of them are showing a little more skin than some of the other women that attended this particular event, it doesn’t look trashy. I love these photos. Absolutely fantastic.

I’m not normally the kind of person that says someone is too curvy or someone is too thin but I worry about Nicole Richie. I always have. When she went through her super skinny period a few years back, I couldn’t help thinking there was something terribly wrong because, yes, there is such a thing as ‘too skinny’. She looked nearly skeletal back then and I was worried about her health. She sought treatment and seemed to be looking healthier and happier for a long time. She got past all the drama and hoopla of her drama days – the DUI arrests, the very brief stay in jail etc – and seemed so much smarter for it. When I look at these photos from the Fashion Awards in NYC, my mind travels back to those days. She doesn’t look unhealthy … yet. I just worry that things could be headed that way again. That’s me. Mother Hen to people I don’t even know. This is what happens when you spend way too much time writing about celebrities and not nearly enough time with your own friends and family members.
