Kate Upton, Sports Illustrated’s ‘Rookie of the Year’ for 2011, has the sort of fresh faced, girl next door face I really like. I tend to be more into girls with dark hair, but I really like Kate. She really seems like a girl that knows how to have fun but doesn’t have to go overboard with it. While I don’t find her quite as attractive as some of the other Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue models, I’d love to just spend a night at a bar with the girl having a beer or two. I think it’d be a blast. These pictures are flirty and fun without being trashy which I really like. It’s not an easy thing to accomplish – especially when you’re only wearing underwear.

And God love her for it – not to mention her willingness to show it off. Kim Kardashian once said she was tired of people talking about her ass. I can’t for the life of me understand why. It worked for Jennifer Lopez. I’ve honestly never been a big fan of big asses but it works for Kim. She’s a curvy woman – even with the weight she’s losing. I think she’s gorgeous. I’m a little torn on Kim. I don’t like her as a person and I don’t think, aside from her sextape, she’s ever done anything worth writing about, but as far as celebrities that are famous for no good reason go, she’s probably my favorite.

I’ve always been a big Alexis Bledel fan, even if I didn’t always admit it. There was a time when I considered myself too cool to like “The Gilmore Girls” and “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” but now I’m older and more mature. I don’t care about being cool and I like that I like. I like Alexis. I’ve never actually seen “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2” but I loved the first one. Sadly, I haven’t seen Alexis in much lately, so I was happy to see these pictures. I always liked Alexis because she didn’t seem like she was in a hurry to grow up. She usually dressed age appropriately, but still beautifully. I think these pictures show that she still does that. She looks sexy but not sleazy. I love that. Those shoes though – as much as I love them, how on earth do women wear shoes like that and not fall on their faces. It’s a mystery to me.

I wonder if Rosie Huntington knew her dress was see through when she went shopping wearing it. I know it sounds like something you’d know as soon as you got dressed, but speaking from experience, that isn’t always the case. Finding out that your dress is see-through – especially if you find out from a stranger, as I did – is embarrassing, the say the least, so I want to assume for Rosie’s sake this was on purpose. If I looked like Rosie, I don’t know if I’d own anything that covered me up at all. Rosie doesn’t seem all that happy here. I can’t help wondering why. With an apparently happy love life and a blossoming movie career, you’d think she’d have plenty to smile about. Then again, maybe she just discovered the revealing nature of her dress and is a little bummed out about that.

See, Kirstie Alley? It can happen to anyone. With a lost shoe and a hole in her stockings, Christie seems to have having a bad night in the wardrobe department. Hardly matters though because that red dress she’s wearing is smoking hot. Christie is proof positive that models of a certain age aren’t necessarily washed up. This woman is still so beautiful and fresh faced. She’s never been one of the super skinny, needs-a-sandwich models, which is a big part of the reason I’ve always loved her so much. She still has a killer body and a smile that can light up the room. The greatest thing about Christie is that she’s not just beautiful for her age. She’s just plain beautiful.

Did “American Idol” save Jennifer Lopez or did Jennifer Lopez save “American Idol”? This is the question a lot of people have been asking since Lopez was named the “most beautiful woman in the world” by People Magazine. Think back just a little bit to where Lopez was before being a new AI judge. Her singles were barely charting and her movie career was pretty much stalled (to be fair, I really liked “The Backup Plan”). Now she’s back on top and I think she deserves it. Here in LA, Jennifer shows off her body but in a way that doesn’t really come across as exploitive or slutty. She’s just having fun with the photo shoot and I like that. She’s a sexy woman and not nearly the diva I thought she was. I’m a fan all over again.
