I have no choice but to cop to this one. I know almost nothing about Rita Rusic. I know she’s an Italian actress/film producer and I know that she looks absolutely incredible in this barely there bikini she’s sporting in Miami. My careful research hasn’t turned up much more aside from this little nugget of information – this woman is over fifty? I’m not so sure I buy that. I mean, you can tell she’s not in her twenties anymore but can it really be true that she’s not even in her forties anymore? After more careful research (beyond Wikipedia and IMDB), I’ve turned up several sources that say she’s 51. I can only think of one thing to say about that. Congratulations. I’m not even thirty yet and could not pull off the bikini Rita’s rocking in these pictures. The fact that she looks better than I can ever hope to look at fifty makes me hate her every so slightly but love her a whole lot more. There’s little I like more than seeing a sexy, confident woman in her fifties outshining the younger girls.

Okay, I’m not positive these shots are from dance class but that’s the impression I get so I’m going with it. Anyway, that’s not what we’re here to talk about. We’re here to talk about Katie Holmes. Here’s what I think. People are way to hard on this girl. She’s beautiful. She’s talented. She seems like a nice enough person. She’s married to Tom Cruise. It seems to be that last one that trips people up. I don’t get why. Sure Tom went a little nuts but he seems to have gotten himself together again and really, what does Tom’s mental state have to do with Katie? I worry about Katie but not because of who she’s married to per say but because of what who she’s married to is doing to her career. She’s been one of my favorite actresses since her days on “Dawson’s Creek” but it seems to me that she has to struggle these days to be taken seriously and that’s just not fair. I hope that changes someday. She’s too talented to live in Tom’s shadow forever.

So I won’t even try to deny I’m a bit out of the loop on the whole “Underworld” franchise. I watched and loved the first two in the series but since then, I’ve kind of lost track. Same deal with “Resident Evil”. I have no idea how many “Underworld” movies there are now but from the looks of these pictures, there’s about to be another one. I’m sure I’m the only person in the world that doesn’t know. I’ll probably see the rest of the series eventually but for now, all that really matters to me is how hot Kate Beckinsale looks in these pictures. I love pale skin and dark hair so Kate is pretty close to the ideal woman in my eyes. Any excuse to put her in form fitting clothes to kick a little ass is just fine in my books.

The last time I posted about Jessica Jane Clement, I confused her with a porn star. I will not make that same mistake again. Jessica Jane is not in fact a porn star but is instead a model, actress and television personality. She’s almost completely smoking hot. That really should’ve been my first clue that she wasn’t the girl I thought she was. Sure porn stars can be hot but they’re usually not this kind of hot. Even during an underwear photoshoot there’s something classy about Jessica. Perhaps it’s the way she carries herself. Regardless, she looks absolutely beautiful in these pictures and I feel my whole day is better for having seen them.

There was a time when Elle Macpherson was my favorite model in the world. I lost track of her for a while so it’s nice to see this set of pictures pop up on my assignment list. I’ve been meaning to see what she’s been up to and according to these pictures taken recently in Sydney she’s been busy staying gorgeous. It’s always nice to check in on one of my favorite models and see they’re still just as stunning as I remember. I always liked Elle because she didn’t seem entirely hung up on herself. She’s a gorgeous woman but she seems to know how to relax and enjoy the life she’s made for herself. A lot of people don’t respect models and I don’t really get why that is. I certainly respect Elle and everything she’s accomplished. It’s good to see her enjoying the spoils of a long and successful career.

I’ve never really gotten the point of celebrity fragrances. I don’t particularly want to smell like any of my favorite celebrities but I suppose they could make a good holiday gift. Who would I buy Selena Gomez’s new fragrance for? Well, I don’t know. Perhaps the Selena Gomez fan on my list that has all of her albums, DVDs, etc. I suppose that isn’t really the point though. So what is the point. Pretty simple. Selena Gomez is gorgeous. As it was pointed out in a comment on another Selena post I did, she’s only 19, not in her early twenties like I thought. That surprises me, especially when I see pictures like these ones from her photo shoot for her new fragrance. She’s a young girl with the poise and maturity of someone much older. I love this girl and can’t wait to see what the future holds for her.
