Young celebrities of Hollywood – pay attention. Do you see this first picture of Jessica Lowndes? She’s getting out of a car in a short dress and she isn’t flashing her panties. See? It is possible! There is no longer an excuse. The second lesson from these pictures? Jessica isn’t showing her underwear and she’s still super sexy. Well, to be honest, I do think she’s a bit on the skinny side, but hey – she’s not the skinniest of the bunch on 90210 so I suppose I shouldn’t complain. In alol seriousness though, Jessica (shown here at the Esquire June Issue Launch Party – Sketch, London) looks pretty hot. I like the dress although the peek-a-boo bodice kind of bothers me. All the same, she looks good. I’d probably wear this dress if I looked half as good as her.

Okay, Hayden Panettiere, we need to have a little talk. Generally, I can defend your rather ‘mature’ fashion choices. I’ve heard you described as an ‘old soul’ and that’s just fine with me. When I was your age, I was described the same way. my problem with you is a small one. Here on Fox, you don’t look like yourself. I know your face looks the same, but I can’t get over the hair. Is it petty of me? Yes. But every time I see you, I can’t help thinking you look like a younger Hilary Clinton and I just can’t endorse that. I understand that you want to look more mature so you can be taken serious as an actor, but there is a line between looking mature and looking boring and you’ve crossed that line with this appearance. Sure you’re flashing a little bra and a tattoo, but that doesn’t change anything. I guess I’ve just come to expect more of you. I don’t want you to be all skanky and scantily clad all the time. That’s not who you are, but come on – a little spice or a little flare can go along way. I’ll be patient. You’re still finding your way. I’m just not feeling this look. Better luck next time.

I’m just not sure how I feel about Hayden Panettiere. It feels like every time I see her, she looks older and is showing more skin. I’ve always loved that she has so much class and poise for someone so young, but it seems she’s starting to loose a bit of that as she’s gets older. It’s kind of funny, really. Perhaps she’s just starting to act her age, but I really hope she would continue to do things differently than her peers. Here at box, Vitali Klitschko, Germany she’s flashing a bit more skin than she normally would, but she still looks gorgeous. I suppose I’m just frightened for where things are headed for her. I don’t want to see her start flashing her body to try to get better roles and more attention. While that works for some actresses – and seems to be the only way for some actresses, I just hoped for more from Hayden.

Congratulations paparazzi of London. You managed to get upskirt shots of Emma Watson despite the fact she’s clearly trying pretty hard to avoid letting that happen. I feel bad for her. I really do. Getting in and out of a car in a short dress isn’t easy to do without flashing a little bit of panty. I can’t imagine how awful it would be to have a flock of photographers waiting for it to happen. I don’t think I’d ever wear anything but long dresses and pants. Anyway, Emma looks as adorable as always. I loved the short hair from the beginning and I love it more every time I see it. It really compliments her and makes her delicate features stand out even more. This girl is one of my favorite young actresses in Hollywood. I can’t wait to see where life takes her.

I know a lot of people say women looking for a little publicity boost will flash their panties ‘on purpose’. I don’t think that’s always the case. Wearing a short skirt and getting in a car can be a little difficult without flashing a little something. I really think that was the case with Paulina Rubio. She doesn’t seem entirely aware her underwear is showing and one has to assume, had she been planning this, she would’ve chosen something a little sexier to flash. Paulina is known for her sexy performances. These panties just don’t fit in with her rep. Who knows, though? Anything’s possible these days.

Get it? Because her band is called The Pretty Reckless. Yeah, lame, I know. Anyway, moving on. I don’t really know what I think of Taylor Momsen anymore. It seems like every move she makes is premeditated to make her look as bad ass as possible, but the more out there she gets, the more innocent I believe she is. Sure flashing her underage breasts on stage at one of her most recent gigs turned some heads. I, on the other hand, just rolled my eyes and yawned a little. It’s old news. This is what we know about Momsen. She has no problem talking about masturbation and her love for her vibrator. She blames her parents for her behavior because they pushed her into acting. I happen to think that’s probably the truest statement that’s ever come out of her mouth. That said, Taylor – performing here at The Academy in Manchester – is no more of a wild child that her pop culture counterpart, Miley Cyrus. The difference is Taylor wants you to think she’s as bad ass as Miley probably is. She isn’t though. She’s a little girl trying to play ball with the big kids – and she’s striking out. She comes across as a sad girl desperate for attention and I’m guessing that’s really closer to the truth.
