Here what bugs me about women who hit the red carpet wearing ‘dresses’ like the one Micaela Schaefer is wearing here – it’s desperate and obvious. We get it. You’re a smoking hot model. Do you really need to walk the red carpet wearing what looks like a necklace and a skirt made out of shredded garbage bags? Apparently Micaela thought this would be the best outfit to wear to the “Men In Black 3” Germany premiere. I might have less of a problem with it if Micaela had something to do with the money. Maybe let the stars of the movie shine since, ya know, it’s their thing. Whatever. She looks hot. I guess that’s all that matters.

The last time I posted about Maria Fowler, I may have been just a little bit harsh. In retrospect, I could’ve voiced my opinion a little more gently but at the time … okay, no. I stand by what I said about those last pictures. Do you remember the ones? Maria flashing her panties at the paparazzi (this was no upskirt shot of her getting out of a car, it was a very intentional panty flash) and then practically passing out in the back seat of a car? They certainly didn’t cast Maria in the best light. I prefer these ones. Maria looks sexy but not slutty and that’s a pretty big deal to me. I like these photos of Maria. They’ve made me reevaluate my opinion of her entirely.

I know there are a lot of people out there who aren’t exactly loving Katy Perry’s blue hair but I’m still a pretty big fan of the look on her. I love a woman who isn’t afraid to stand out and so something different and I really think Katy pulls off the blue tresses brilliantly. The dress she’s wearing as she leaves her hotel in Paris? Well, I’m not sure I’m such a big fan of that. I like the shade but I’m not sure I understand the style of the dress. Why the see through skirt? I guess that’s the style these days but just because it’s trendy doesn’t mean it looks good. I suppose it’s up to Katy though and regardless of how I feel, Katy looks to feel pretty good enough her choice.

This is the second time Selena Gomez has hit the stage in either this outfit or one very similar to it and much like the first time, she looks absolutely adorable but I’m not entirely sure I like the wardrobe choice. It does flatter her, highlighting her lovely legs but I think I would’ve liked it more had the long half skirt (or perhaps train?) had either not been attached or gone the whole way around. Regardless, Selena looks lovely onstage in Montevideo, Uruguay and looks like she’s putting on a great show. There has been a lot of talk about the new ring she’s sporting on that ‘special’ finger but I’m going to leave that subject alone. Whatever the story is there, I hope she is as happy as she deserves to be. I think this lady is fantastic.

I have to hand it to Helen Flanagan. While her time as Rosie on “Coronation Street” is coming to an end, she definitely knows how to leave a lasting impression. There aren’t many women out there that could make a dress this revealing look anything other than trashy but Helen manages to do exactly that. Sure she’s showing a lot of skin but she’s clearly being very careful not to show too much. In these pictures (taken in London), Helen manages to mostly avoid the all too common upskirt shots and I actually really appreciate that. See? It can be done! I like Helen. She’s beautiful, talented and can really be classy when she wants to be.

Lately, Ashley Tisdale has been seen mostly out and about with her new boyfriend Martin Johnson but in this set of pictures taken at Planet Blue in Los Angeles on January 10, she decided to go it alone for a little shopping time. I have always been a little back and forth on Ashley but I really like these pictures. I always really enjoy seeing Ashley in more casual fashions. She gives off a very relaxed and laid back vibe and I appreciate that. I think what I really enjoy most about these shots though is what she’s wearing. I have always been a big fan of pairing baggy shirts or sweaters with form fitting skirts or pants. Also, being a shoe fanatic, I have to admit to a little envious lusting over the shoes she’s wearing here. I’m a sucker for a nice heel.
