As a Canadian, I always feel the need to like Canadian celebrities. It’s a country pride thing. I’m proud to be Canadian and I’m proud of the talent Canada produces. Then there’s Jayde Nicole. Why do I have a problem with her and not Pam Anderson? I can’t quite explain it, to be honest. Jayde is pretty and mostly famous for her Playboy pictorials for which she was named Playmate of the Year in 2008. Pam is pretty and mostly famous – well, okay, Pam’s famous for more than just Playboy but most of it involves being either naked or scantily clad. There’s just something about Jayde that rubs me the wrong way. Perhaps it was falsely accusing Joe Francis (of Girl’s Gone Wild Fame) of punching her in the face. I hate women who lie about things like that. It makes it harder for women who are actually the victims of violence at the hands of men have a harder time proving it. Low.

I’ll admit I was one of the many people out there who sort of forgot Jennifer Lopez existed. Every now and then she’d be in some new movie I wouldn’t watch or release a new song that I wouldn’t listen to. Sometimes she’d fall in stage while performing her brand new song about expensive shoes us normal folk can’t afford and yeah, I’d YouTube that. When she was announced as a judge for American Idol, I rolled my eyes and pitied anyone that had to work with the notorious diva. Then I heard Steven Tyler was going to be a judge and hated life. I love Steven Tyler but watching him on AI would mean I’d have to put up with J-lo. I tuned in because, well, Steven Tyler! Lo and behold, Lopez is actually pretty good for the show. I think it shows a human side of her many people didn’t believe existed. It doesn’t hurt that she’s still a fox. Love the Lopez!

Jenna Bently, the Playboy Playmate and fashion model, is getting her own reality show. These pictures were snapped as she films a pilot for that new reality show at various boutiques on Melrose Ave and from what I can tell, it appears to be about her shopping or maybe trying on clothes. Get ready for an edge of your seat, nail biting thrill ride as Jenna decides whether to buy the cut out shirt that shows off her boobies or decides it just isn’t revealing enough. Yup. This woman is pure class. I like her though. Don’t get me wrong. She looks like she’d be a lot of fun to hit the clubs with, as long as you don’t mind fading into the background and letting the pretty blond have all the attention.

I have loved Julia Stiles since I was just a teenager watching her in ’10 Things I Hate About You’. I lost track of her for a while after ‘Save the Last Dance’ but fell in love all over again watching her play the revenge minded Lumen on one of my favorite shows of all time, ‘Dexter’. She has a killer body (no pun intended, Dex fans) even if she’s a little lacking in the boobs department. With rumors that Stiles may have been dating her Dexter co-star Michael C. Hall and that fling may have been responsible for Michael splitting with wife Jennifer Carpenter (who plays Hall’s sister, Deb), my opinion on Stiles is beginning to change. I mean, sleeping with married men is bad but screwing up the chemistry on Dexter – unforgivable.

Jessica Biel is, in my humble opinion, one of the sexiest women on the face of the planet. Even women can’t help staring when she hits the beach. She’s in fantastic shape – not stick thin but firm, toned and athletic – and obviously works hard to stay that way. Why not show off the results of that hard work on a little beach vacation? My only question is where’s Justin Timberlake? Jessica and Justin have been together for ages although recent rumors have the couple on the outs thanks to Justin’s possible flirtations with Olivia Munn. Alright, Munn is hot and all and looks like she’d be a lot of fun, but come on. Jessica Biel? If that’s true, Justin, you’re a very foolish boy.

Normally I’m not a big Ed Hardy fan, but these pictures of Jenna Bentley wearing an Ed Hardy might just change my mind. The girl looks pretty incredible. The only problem I see with Jenna is that she looks a lot (and I mean a lot) like ‘T’, one of Tara’s alters on the Showtime show The United States of Tara. I know, I know. Tara and all of her alters are played by the ridiculously talented Toni Collette, but there is definitely a resemblance there. Unless, of course, I’m just crazy. Let’s not discount that possibility. Either way, Jenna looks hot and at the end of that day, that’s really all that matters. Moving on.
