Rumor has it Nigel Lithgow isn’t convinced Jennifer Lopez is really done with “American Idol”. He’s the executive producer so you’d think he’d know. He is hoping she’ll decide to return and share the judge’s panel with newly appointed judge, Mariah Carey. Hmmm … I’m not sure he’s thought that one through. I can’t see the purpose of having two pop-divas on the panel. I can’t even imagine how they’d get along. I suppose it doesn’t really matter because I’m pretty convinced Jennifer’s leaving even if Nigel isn’t. It’s a shame too. Just look at these performance pics of Jennifer Lopez in New Jersey. The woman really knows how to put on a show. She might not be the most talented singer but she commands the stage and I think that counts for a lot in pop music. Plus she’s hot. Super hot. I guess we’ll see how it all plays out in the next few weeks.

Oh to be Jennifer Lopez. She has had an incredible career that, although it’s been a little up and down, had made her one of the most famous woman in the world. She’s stunningly beautiful even without makeup and she has two beautiful children she adores. Plus, ya know, she has a piece of man candy like Casper Smart on her arm. I’m not sure I’m a big fan of the guy but he definitely looks good next to her. More importantly, he seems to make her happy. I’m not going to say these two are headed for the alter or are even in it for the long run but the girl just went through a tough breakup with the father of her kids. If a girl’s gonna rebound she might as well do it in style.

Even after all these years, Jennifer Lopez still has one of the finest backsides in the business and she still isn’t shy about showing it off. In these photos from Soñando por Bailar, Argentina, Jennifer looks fabulous. Her dress compliments her finest physical features beautifully – most of all that fine rear end she’s so famous for. It looks like that hasn’t gone unnoticed. If I were to ever meet the lovely Miss. Lopez, I may have to bow down as well. It’s kind of amazing how much something like “American Idol” can impact a person’s career and reputation. Before Idol, Lopez was seen as a diva. Now she has a much more positive image. My mind is among the minds that were changed. I love this women. I hope she changes her mind and comes back for another season.

Brazil has some passionate music fans. If you need evidence, just check out the tweets to some of today’s most popular music artists. Just glancing over them briefly, you’ll see dozens of requests for said artist to perform in Brazil. Jennifer Lopez heard that call (or more likely her manager did) and hit the stage at the Arte Music Festival in Brazil and thank heavens she did. This woman couldn’t be more beautiful. Sometimes I find myself just staring at her face and thinking about how perfect her bone structure is. Stunning doesn’t begin to cover it. Am I a fan of her music? Not so much but I’m a big fan of how she looks while she performs it, so I guess that’s half the battle.

There was a time when I couldn’t stand Jennifer Lopez and that time wasn’t really all that long ago. She had that whole diva persona going on and it just turned me off. I always thought she was beautiful but that diva-tude sort of ruined that for me. After spending the last two seasons watching her on “American Idol” though, I have to say my perception of her has changed completely. She comes across as so much more down to earth and grounded on the show than I would’ve expected. Here in Rio de Janeiro, we get to see another thing I love about Jennifer – her love for her children. She just seems so happy and at peace when she’s with her children. Of course it doesn’t hurt that she also looks fabulous.

I like Jennifer Love Hewitt. I’ve liked her for a long time – since her Party of Five days. While I never actually watched Party of Five, or The Ghost Whisperer for that matter, I like JLH as a personality. She seems like the type of girl you could just hang out with and talk about… I don’t know. Whatever normal girls talk about. She seems down to earth. What I like most about her is she’s always been able to laugh at herself. That changed somewhere along the way, though. I think it was around the time she was vilified by the media for daring to put on a few pounds. It’s a shame, really. God forbid a woman look healthy. Anyway, since then, Jennifer has seemed a little more humorless and that’s sad. Then pictures like these come along and I remember what I loved most about her. I’m not talking about her body – although, let’s be honest, that’s a hard body not to love. I’m talking about her playfulness and her ability to look almost innocent while taking her clothes off for the camera. She’s sexy and sweet – an irresistible combination if you can get it right and Jennifer definitely gets it right.
