I know I talk a lot of smack about the Kardashian/Jenner clan but I really do like Kendall. I’m not sure why I like Kendall but I do. Maybe it’s because she has more than enough money to sit back and live off the money her family made for the rest of her life but she has instead decided to go out there and make money on her own. Sure, she’s making money by modeling but work is work and it’s more than a lot of other entertainment industry kids born into money do. It doesn’t hurt that I think she’s a beautiful young lady although I do worry she’s in too much of a hurry to grow up. I guess only time will tell what kind of woman she turns into but I have my fingers crossed that she makes the right decisions and heads down the right path.

I won’t even lie. I really, really envy the life the Kardashian/Jenner clan leads. I don’t envy the constant attention and the press constantly prying into their private lives but I envy the rest of it. As I look at these shots of Kendall Jenner on a yacht in Mykonos, Greece, I can’t help feeling a little jealous. I want to be on a yacht in Greece. It just looks so relaxing and peaceful. Maybe someday. As for Kendall, I think she looks incredible. She’s a beautiful young woman that seems to have an especially bright future ahead of her. I just hope she makes smart choices and keeps herself out of trouble. I’m sure that’s not easy for a young woman her age, especially with the money she has but I’m sure she can do it with a strong support system. This is clearly a very close family. I’m sure she has someone looking out for her best interests. I hope.

I like Kendall Jenner despite generally disliking anyone and everything associated with the Kardashians. Kendall is different to me. The fact that she’s posing with a dolphin in these photos from Las Vegas only makes me love her more. I am fairly disturbed that the dolphin isn’t in the water but hey, dolphin! Yay! I have a bit of a dolphin obsession. My dolphin obsession is only topped by my penguin obsession, my squirrel obsession and my obsession with cats playing pianos so these pictures make me happy. Did you know dolphins have sex for fun, just like humans? Just a fun little tidbit I picked up somewhere along the line. Also, ducks have penises. Isn’t that weird? Anyway – dolphin. Kendall Jenner. There is a reason I like Kendall Jenner even though I’m not really a big fan of the rest of the Kardashians. She just seems like such a normal girl. In these photos, Kendall is celebrating her 17th birthday. She looks great, of course, but she also looks like a normal 17 year old just trying to enjoy her birthday. If my birthday wasn’t in the middle of May, I probably would’ve celebrated by 17th the same way Kendall did. I’d also like to point out the outfit she’s wearing here. It looks great on her but it’s also very age appropriate. It’s sometimes easy to forget that there are some young girls out there who are content to be young girls instead of trying to be older. Sure some of her photo shoots have been a bit on the racy side but I don’t think what she does in front of the camera really counts. What counts is what she does behind the scenes and to me, it looks like she does the same things most girls her age do although perhaps with a bit more money.

I’m not a fan of the Kardashian clan in general but I quite like Kendall Jenner. Her family has enough money to ensure this girl never has to work a day in her life yet she’s still out there working. She’s not working at a shop downtown or flipping burgers at a fast food restaurant but she’s still doing something other than just living off her family’s money. If blessed with the same opportunities Kendall enjoys, many girls her age certainly wouldn’t be out earning their own money. In this photoshoot at Darling Hotel in Sydney, Kendall looks pretty adorable. She isn’t trying to be super sexy in this shoot which is one of the issues I had with some of her other shoots. Instead, she’s just looking like a normal girl her age. I like that and I love these photos.

Sometimes I forget why so many people seem to dislike the Kardashians and their family members so much. Then I see photos like these of Kendall Jenner riding her Segway in Malibu and it all comes back to me. People think of the Kardashians and the Jenners as spoiled rotten brats who get everything they ask for. They think of the Kardashians and the Jenners as super famous celebrities that have never done anything to earn the attention they get. I don’t think that’s necessarily fair. Well, maybe it is for some of them, but Kendall seems a little different and let’s be fair, she can’t help the way she was raised. If you’re raised in a certain kind of environment, you’re going to behave a certain way until you’re old enough to know better. I like Kendall and I’m going to give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she’ll do something incredible with her fame. Maybe she’ll just hock endless lines of perfume, makeup and all the other products her Kardashian cohorts like to slap their names on. Only time will tell.
