I like it when pretty models post sexy pictures of themselves on Twitter. It reminds me of why I got a Twitter account in the first place. That sort of connection with fans is actually pretty rare, and it’s always nice when a celebrity is willing to go that extra mile. Granted, it’s pretty much Kate Upton’s job to show off her body considering she’s a Victoria’s Secret and Guess model. It’s still nice. Kate isn’t my favorite model in the industry today, but she is very pretty and has a great figure so these pictures are great. To be honest, until only recently, I didn’t actually know who she was. I’ll be keeping an eye out for her in the future.

Can Rosie Huntington really be considered an actress yet? She only has one screen credit to date and that film has not yet been released. I’m referring, of course, to ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’ in which she is replaced Megan Fox. There was a lot of drama when that decision first came to light, but I can see it. She’s absolutely gorgeous, has a lovely figure and probably has about as much on screen presence as Fox. I only ask about the actress thing because she’s showing up on ‘hottest actresses’ lists everywhere. I would give her a spot on my hottest models list, but I reserve her spot on the actresses list for women who, you know, are actually actresses. I’m giving her the benefit of the doubt though. Every actress has to get their start somewhere and the pages of Victoria’s Secret sees as good a place as any.

We get it. Miley Cyrus is all grown up and can’t be tamed. Does anyone even care anymore. Much like Lady Gaga’s crazy clothes are getting boring, so are Miley’s various body parts. We all know it’s only a matter of time before completely naked pictures ‘leak’ and she cements her place among the bad girls of pop ‘music’ so why waste time with these ridiculous get ups. I actually thought Miley looked pretty good at the Grammy’s (the longer black and gold dress in these pictures). The dress was revealing but it wasn’t super over the top. Then she shows up in this mesh topped, breast baring mess and I remember that classy Miley is always fleeting – replaced quickly by attention hungry Miley. With news that she’s barely on speaking terms with her father, one has to wonder if he doesn’t need to step in and put a stop to this insanity before the world ends up with another Brittany Lohan. Miley – the world now officially talks about your boobs more than your music. Take the hit, put some clothes on and make a decent record. You’re losing the little credibility you had.

I generally like girls a little curvier than Avril Lavigne, but the flat chested look works for her in some weird way. Looking at these pictures of Avril in Mexico, I can’t imagine her with big ‘ole boobies. They’d just look out of place. Also, I have to say, it takes a special kind of woman to pull off that hat. It’s just ridiculous, but somehow, Avril makes it look almost good. That’s why she’s a rock star, folks. I remember when Avril first hit the scene back and made stick straight hair and raccoon eyes look cool. It worked great for me as it was the look I’d been rocking for years. When I heard she was getting into modeling, I was a little shocked. What a sellout! Then I saw those first modeling pictures for whatever it was she was modeling and I thought to myself, yeah – maybe not such a bad career move. Love this girl. She needs to hit the beach in bikinis more often.

I dunno, I don’t like Reese Witherspoon. She has that sweet, wholesome image, but I’m just not buying into it. There’s something about her that screams ice queen and it wasn’t her little showmance with Jake Gyllenhaal (whom I love, by the way). Something about her just gives me the chills – and not the good kind of chills. I love her as an actress. She takes on some great roles – abso-freaking-lutely loved her in Rendition, for example – but as a person? I don’t know. She seems like the kind of girl that talks catty about her girlfriends behind their backs and cuts men off from sex if they misbehave (although I’m sure that wasn’t a problem with Jakey-G). I think it shows real, honest to goodness talent when an actress can make you love her on the big screen even if you think she’s a ‘see you next Tuesday’ in real life. Of course, I could be completely wrong. It happens. A lot. She could be the world’s biggest sweetheart. I’m just saying if I were going to place a bet, I know where I’d lay my wager.

It’s been a while since I’ve had the chance to rant about my distaste for Miley Cyrus and it seems it’s going to be a bit longer. I think Miley looks adorable in her little sundress – not overly sexualized. Not flashing more skin than she needs to flash. She looks fresh, youthful and happy. I like this Miley. The popstar Miley who is catching heat for writhing around half naked on a bed (and various other places) in her new video for ‘Who Owns My Heart’, I can do without. Why can’t Miley just be herself? She can’t really sing, but I’ve heard worse out there. If she actually put real, human emotions into some of her music, she might be okay. It makes me angry that it’s considered generally acceptable to let her pass on sex and seduction but little else. She’ll look back on these days in time and realize she made all the wrong decisions. It’s a shame her career will probably be over by then.
