I don’t really care for the Kardashians. There’s just something about people who are just famous for being famous that always sits wrong with me but that doesn’t mean I want to see them looking sad and I can’t deny Kourtney looks sad in a few of these pictures. Perhaps the sad pictures were just snapped at a bad time because in other photos she seems like she’s having a great time. Either way, it’s nice to see things seem to be going well for her and her husband, although I like him even less than I like the Kardashians in general. There was a show on the CW for a brief period of time called “H8R” and I was one of the very few people who watched it. Kourtney’s husband was on it and I have to say his appearance left me liking him even less. This is the same show that made me like Snooki, Joe Francis and various other celebrities I had a mean dislike going for. If you’re not sure what I mean, YouTube it. It’s horriible. I do miss the show though. Bring back “H8R!”

Until only a few weeks ago, I had no idea who Alizee was and until this post, I had no idea what she looked like. I have to say, she’s every bit as beautiful as I expected. A friend of mine recommended Alizee’s album so I checked it out and fell in love. Here performing for “Les Enfoirés 2012” in Lyon, I’m listening to her album (“Les Enfoirés 2012”), looking at the pictures and thinking to myself that this young lady may be one of my new favorite artists. I absolutely love her. She’s beautiful, talented (she’s also a dancer) and a philanthropist to boot. I can’t wait to learn more about her. This woman excites me.

As a female who occasionally enjoys wearing short skirts and dresses, I know it can sometimes be difficult to avoid flashing my undies at everyone in the room when I sit down while wearing said short skirts or dresses. Somehow, though, I manage to do it. Why? When my friend’s Dad had “the talk” with me (Mom was far too shy for such matters), he told me, “a real lady always crosses her legs”. Outdated? Sure, but it stuck with me. Every time I’m out and about I always sit with my legs crossed, preventing views like this one of model, television personality and former nurse Abi Titmuss at the Celebrity Salon Launch. I must say though, aside from the unfortunate upskirts, Abi looks lovely.

I love me some Christina Hendricks. She’s just so different from most of the other women in the entertainment industry today – the fiery red hair, the pale milky skin, the real woman curves… this woman is pretty near perfection, at least in my eyes. There’s just something about her that speaks to me. She seems like such a passionate, intense sort of woman. Her eyes just about kill me and she definitely knows how to stare at the camera so it feels like she’s looking right at you. While most people know her as Joan on AMC’s “Mad Men” I remember her as Saffron on Fox’s “Firefly”. I loved her then and I love her now. One of the most beautiful and talented actresses in Hollywood. I’m thrilled to see her getting so much recognition now.

I wasn’t really an Ashley Tisdale fan for a long time but she’s really been growing on me over the last few months. She looks beautiful here at the Journey 2 Mysterious Island premiere in LA, wearing a flattering, sexy dress that looks amazing on her. She’s grown so much since she first hit the Hollywood scene but instead of showing that growth by sporting the same kind of trashy attire some of her contemporaries wear, Ashley wears more mature styles that are still youthful and fun. I love this color on her. I’m not crazy over pairing the dress with the shoes but i can understand why she chose them. Nude or light colored shoes make the legs look longer although judging for these pictures, she didn’t need the help.

I’m a huge fan of Geri Halliwell and all things Spice Girl. I have been since I was but a little things, probably about thirteen or fourteen years old. What to I think of when I think of the Girls in their heyday? The “Wannabe” video, the Pepsi commercial, “Spiceworld” but more than any of that, I think of Geri and her Union Jack dress. For that reason, I’m absolutely thrilled Geri has launched the Union Jack Clothing line. These pictures from the line’s launch in London are absolutely fabulous. In my always humble opinion, Geri looks better now than she did when she wore the original dress. I also like the updated version of the dress a lot more. These pictures make me feel nostalgic for a time when things were better and that makes me feel good. Love this woman and love these pictures.
