Maria Sharapova was well dressed at the Herve Leger Spring 2009 fashion show at The Promenade, Bryant Park on September 7. Maria wore one of Leger’s slinky dresses. The designer posed with her for pictures. They exchanged pleasantries and Sharapova was clearly tickled by his joke. Leger dressed his models in his signature clingy wrapped designs. Women can show off their sexy curves with Herve Leger’s designer clothes.
Rihanna looked beautiful with a tall cockatoo hairstyle. She attended the MTV VMA in one of her micro outfits. Her tube top allowed her to show off her tattoo of a cluster of stars down the nape of her neck. Rihanna had returned to the West Coast after her performance in NYC for Fashion Rocks. Her friend, Chris Brown, was asked that million dollar question about Rihanna and he said no. The young celebrities were prepared to wait and work out their careers before settling down.
I must say, I’m beginning to think Rihanna is slowly adopting a sexier and more sultry image. I’m also a bit uncomfortable to see her with long hair. Paris Hilton met her sister, Nicky Hilton, in Las Vegas, on Friday night, August 29. The Hilton sisters were there to celebrate the opening of a new restaurant called Yellowtail. Paris was escorted by Nicky because her boyfriend was away. Benji Madden and his band, Good Charlotte, was away on tour. I wonder why Paris did not join him this time. After all, she had toured with Benji previously. Perhaps she had other commitments to fulfill.
Heidi Klum did a wonderful fashion shoot for the August issue of InStyle magazine. She wore a wide range of outfits that showcased her classic beauty. In a series of interviews with different media, Heidi spoke about her old ambition to become a fashion designer. She was thankful she made modeling her priority instead. She spoke against plastic surgery and vowed never to go under the knife. Heidi said that ageing was a natural process of life and one should accept that gracefully.
