Newest Calvin Klein endorser Eva Mendes looked absolutely H-O-T in a yellow maxi dress during the official launch party for ACP Magazine’s “30 Days of Fashion and Beauty” in Melbourne, Australia. Eva was definitely looking pretty down under! The controversial “Hitch” star, who underwent rehab in the past few months, looked simple, casual but definitely elegant in her sheer yellow strapless dress. Notice how thin the material of her dress is!
Honestly though, does anyone actually think Charlize Theron is anything other than stunning? She’s easily one of my favorite actresses working in the industry right now but her looks have nothing to do with that. Well, they have almost nothing to do with that. She’s an incredibly talented actress and she isn’t afraid to hide her beauty if the role calls for it. She’s fearless and she really showed that off – and a lot more – at the “Snow White And The Huntsman” world premiere by rocking a nearly completely sheer dress. If you’ve read some of my other posts about red carpet fashion, you know I’m not typically a fan of dresses that leave so little to the imagination but there are two exceptions to that rule for me. I am okay with daring fashion at awards shows if the person attending is nominated, presenting or performing. I am also okay with daring fashion at premieres if the person is actually involved with the movie. Charlize falls into the latter category in this case so I’ll give her a pass. With that said, although she looks gorgeous, I’m not a big fan of the dress. What do I know, though? I regularly leave the house wearing my pajamas.
If you didn’t know better, you would think that this was America’s sweetheart Hilary Duff on a night out, but think again. Here is America’s second sweetheart, Hilary’s little sister Haylie. My my, those two could pass for twins if you didn’t look twice. Haylie is here heading out of the Katsuya Restaurant. Normally I would say sheer dresses and fishnet stockings are on the trampy side of things, but Haylie is pulling this look off effortlessly. Oh, if only we all could be this beautiful.
Paris Hilton is a good looking woman. I know some people will argue that but hey, everyone has the right to their opinion and that’s my opinion. Honestly though, I’m not sure I really love these photos. The dress is nice enough and it looks pretty on her but I don’t know. I’m not really feeling the excitement with this set of photos. I guess it’s the fact that I’ve seen Paris’ bare breasts more times than I can count. The whole sheer top thing kind of loses it’s appeal when you’ve already seen the goods without anything covering them at all. That’s not always the case but it is for me with these shots.
Sometimes I think Maria Sharapova is unbearably hot. Other times, I think she’s just hot. This set of photos falls somewhere in between those two categories and I kind of like that. I think she looks pretty in these photos. The dress is lovely and shows off all of her best features without making it look like she’s trying to be the center of attention. I find that incredibly appealing. These aren’t my favorite Maria Sharapova pics but for red carpet pics, I think they’re pretty great. I’m not sure I love the bit of sheer black fabric at the bottom of the dress but overall, I like this look.
I’ve talked a lot about how much I love Teresa Palmer but not it’s honesty time. I’m not loving these photos from “The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn 2” premiere in LA. I don’t think the dress was the right choice for the event and I don’t think it looks that good on her. I can see what she was going for but I don’t think she quite got it right. It’s not really all that sexy to me. I actually like the collar and the sheer material over her chest and arms but I think having that sheer material over her belly as well was a bad move. Dress aside, I think she looks great. I love the hair and makeup. Just not feeling the rest of the look. I love this girl though. Everyone has a fashion misstep from time to time.
